Any ideas on a UFC Undisputed OS league?

I think we should definitely create an OS league, but I'm not sure how we would be able to do it with the UFC game. Any ideas?

One idea is to have some sort of draft. We have 10 league members and we do a draft where you can only draft one fighter from each weight class. There's supposed to be 10 fighters from each weight class so each member would have 5 total fighters. From there we can do a Grand Prix for each weight class. That would be a pretty cool option.

I don't think there are too many fighters in the game who have the option to move up and down in weight class so we wouldn't really be able to do an open weight grand prix.

well we don't know the online options yet...i don't really like wrestling games, but do you know what thq had for their other titles? If they have tournament that would be perfect.

Set up a weekly toruny on the site and give points based on finishing position.

Getting to round 2 = 1 point,round 3 = 2 points,finals loser = 3 points,winner = 5 points

Why don't we break it down to weight classes.

example: If the game has 10 heavy weights - Then 10 members draft from that weight class. Then do this for each weight class.

Then we would have something like looks like this.

OS HW
goh
allbthere
phobia
etc etc

OS MW
duece
grunt
TJ
Steve
etc

We do this for each weight class and at this point if the game does not have a built in ranking win/loss record keeper. We can do one manually. Track and schedule fights this way.

Either way we do it, once we get the online game mode options we can better decide how to handle it.

I think weekly tourneys or something would work...We need something that allows people to hop in and out, but we could come up with a tournament point ranking system that would keep track long term...

I'm interested though, we'll have to give this more thought and come up with something cool, never really done a online fight game league of any sort.

I'd even be up for a "OS UFC Unleashed night" where we all hop on into a Live Party and then figure out a round robin type thing...just whoever shows can determine the extent and then play for an hour or whatever.

I'm interested as well. I kind of like the idea of drafting guys in different weight classes and doing a tournament with each weight class to determine the champion and seeds for each weight class. Then we schedule fights from there.

you can be Vera, he's in the game and even rendered in the fighters section of the undisputed website in all his virtual glory.

I really like this idea and the other ideas i've read. Are we going to have some type of Draft or something. I'll post my prefered guys to play as in each weight class.

This is so great for tournaments like this because the games don't take forever, we know people on this site and there won't be quitting etc. Hopefully we'll develope some rivalries :wink:

You'd also have to add rules if CAF will be allowed,if any of the legends would be allowed and so on.

Don't add me in. I'm just suggesting ideas,my gold is up tomorrow or in 2 days maybe,it was just a one month card from a repair and I'm normally silver.
