If you let every member pick 5 fighters then the league will be smaller, but if you want a larger league then you should have all of the members pick one weight class and choose a fighter that way you have 10 members per weight class and a much more exciting league.

Edit: As far as the league--- it's all going to depend on how the online multiplayer functions. If it's solid, you can pretty much count me in for sure.

Problem is - do you really 50 people from these forums would consistently play? Otherwise each division would get pretty boring with 2-3 active players.

I think the only way it works is if everyone picks a fighter from each Division, or if we figure out what divisions most people would rather play - and play those... For instance, have a LW and LHW division with people who want to play in those, or just decide on the majority divison, and have everyone fight in one division to REALLY make the league interesting.

Otherwise I see 5 people signing up at LW, 6 people at WW, 4 at MW, 6 and LHW, 4 at HW... Then only 2 people end up being active at LW, and 4 at WW, and 4 at MW, and 3 at LHW... it just kind of seems like it would be spreading the divisions too thin and the same people would just fight over and over.

I'd rather see all the division with how ever many people we get, or deciding on say 1,2, or 3 divisions and spread between those, or still having everyone fight at those divions (so people don't have to fight at too many weights).

Just my thoughts.

Looks like there's 13 for the 360 and 5 for the PS3. Might be off on that but it's nowhere near 50.

Ten members join, and each of them pick one figheter from each weight class. Its as simple as that. The odds that all of these people that want to join actually keep with it is slim.
We'll have some sort of draft and go from there.



If there are other members that want to do it, then just make another league. No big deal.

I'd definitely be interested in a league depending on how this game turns out. Can't say it'll be a day 1 buy for me because I'm still skeptical after how bad the Dreamcast games were. I never had a fight go to the second round in that game and you could basically win every match by picking Kevin Randleman and doing his B,B,B combo over and over without punishment. I'm looking for a game that the fights can end in 15 seconds, or go 15-25 minute decisions.

I am a huge UFC fan and have been following this game since announce. It has been a long wait, finally getting close. The CBS article today got me even more pumped up. I am definately down for doing this on 360.
