I'm down for a PS3 league, how awesome would it be if the game has a spectator mode?

I think that mode would offer so much depth to leagues in general. You could then come back here and have a discussion on all that happened in important matches etc. especially for this type of league.

Like Allbthere I am extremely stoked for this game. It is my single must buy for 2009 as of now.

I am on 360 depending how we going to handle a league.

I'm 360 as well. To be fair though we'll probably have to have a draft on here first, so as much as I'd like GSP for WW, it's not fair to claim him without doing some kind of draft (how do thoes work though?)
People won't be pining over Brandon though, so you should be able to get him no problem. We'll have to get some kind of "show of hands" as to who's interested on what system, then have some kind of admin for each system to draw up a draft order. Depending on how many people are in, we may end up w/ multiple fighters in different weight categories, or one in each if there's only 16 people per system.
At that point we can hold UFC1 style tournaments to declair winners. So we can have our own UFC events starting at #1 and so on. OS UFC #1 champion ___________
and have special events for created fighters and 'super match' tourney's called affliction lol and strikforce.
We could also have a nascar style points winner at the end of a 'season' if people want. Something like every win where you finish your opponent gets you 2 points and a decision win gets you 1 etc.

Take down people's name,assign numbers,then use a random number generator to determine draft order and proceed with draft.

I'm in aswell for 360. If we do a draft with random numbers we should make sure that nobody gets 1st pick in each class more than once. For instance I could luck up and get 1st pick in 3 weight classes or w/e.

I'd prefer Chuck or Rampage.

Well I would certainly be interested if there are enough guys on the PS3 to support it, assuming the gameplay holds up and isnt too bad that is.

thanks for the suggestions goh, but What's 'snake'? BTW, I will help out as much as I can w/ the 360 league or even head it up - but it makes sense to wait a bit closer to release to get a full show of hands, so it's easier to structure. I'm getting more ideas too for some cool tournaments, and fighter records.

I'd like in if you guys can figure out something decent. I'd want to fight in the LW division. I just don't know if there's enough people who would play to make it so we can just be in one division.

It'd be cool to do PPV events, though. People sign up, then we figure out who fights with who - and everyone fights out their fight and we see how the game even matches up to the real PPV event.
