I heard a comentary line I hadn't yet. Goldberg was going on about the crowd booing and Rogan said they need a couple more beers and monster truck show.

I normally dont follow MMA much but this game has me OBSESSED!

I think i've already played about 20 hours on the DEMO alone. It never gets old knocking Liddell/Shogun out

the last match I had was the best. I rushed at Shogun at the center of the octagon and delivered a spinning back fist to end the match in a knockout at 5 seconds! that was so awesome. I also saw a guy on youtube having a 3 second victory

I cannot wait for this game to come out

Same here. It wasn't even on my radar until guys at OS were raving about it. It's a very popular game and that's just with the demo.

This game just has a very broad appeal. I play with a group of guys pretty regularly and none of them are MMA fans. Since the demo dropped, anytime I check my list I see at least a couple of them playing it. Imagine when we have the full roster? The 19th needs to hurry up.

The fighter models are ridiculous. Chuck has the same frame and posture in real life. Amazing detail

possibly talking about the WWE converts that migrated over to MMA with Lesnar?....

I've had about 10 submissions overall, but only 2 or 3 have been against the CPU. Very satisfying when you get one.

The best one I had was against my mate when I countered a hammer fist from his full mount into an armbar FTW

I'm really getting impatient for the full game. When is the UK release date anyone? Is it the 21st or 22nd?

Saw something new today that I probably won't ever see again in a million fights.
Playing as Chuck,threw a head kick at the same time as Rua. The kick only grazed his forehead but KOed him,since it only grazed him Chucks foot kept going so it was past his head and as Rua was falling Chucks foot got hooked around his head and bent him backwards like a limbo contest. Once his foot was down again Rua fell back the opposite way he was bending. It looked all kinds of wrong and awesome at the same time.

Wow i saw the hype on here an ignored it. I decided to d/l it and give it a shot since i watch the ufc now and then.

WOW this game is amazing. I HATE fighting games but this one.... i dunno. It might be the first fighting game i buy in over 5 years....

I've been trying to do the flying punch when your opponent is on the mat for a while now. What are the buttons for that?

You have to flick the LS towards your opponent, while he's on the ground, so that you do the quick lunge animation and press a punch button.

At first I was fired up about this game, but after spending some meaningful time with it...I'm over it. Too unbalanced. I don't care what the developer says, or what some guy does on a Youtube video without showing any proof of what level he's playing on. Submissions are BS on advanced & expert. I've done the ground control thing. I've drained Chuck's energy. He still escapes submissions. Rua's submission offense is higher than Chuck's submission defense, but I haven't subbed him once on advanced or expert. I'll wait for opinions after the game drops, but as of now, it's a rental. This post from the undisputed forum sums it up for me:

For them to fix the submission system for UFC 2010+ we need to bring it to their attention, I can knock Chuck out in the first round, take him down a million times, pass his guard like butter, sweep him easily, pound him out, and out strike him on expert mode because I've taken the time to get good at it, but no matter how much time I put into going for submissions I can't submit him, Chuck better have damn good sub defense compared to other fighters in the game

If I have to drain Brock Lesnar's stamina to zero to submit him with Frank Mir then the submission system is broken.

Your're right that flash submissions are extremely difficult, if not impossible, but in regards to submitting on advanced I can submit Chuck pretty much when I want to (still working on expert, and I'm glad its difficult considering its the highest difficulty).

Obviously, there should be flash submissions just like knockdowns...but, I'm sure its tough to balance that without it being abused.
