That being said, I find the timing of the Chad Mendes announcement somewhat intriguing considering the small blowback just recently concerning revealing the UFCs power to grant exemptions to the "4 month rule." What a time and what a way to remind everyone that USASA means business.

Do they disclose to the public when the test happened, and when the results were first known?

    Conspiracy JearBear.

The UFC isnt getting much backlash about the 4 month waiver for Brock other than from sites like Bloody Elbow. Most people dont really care because they know the circumstances behind it. This isnt like they are allowing Brock to skip testing while he's signed to the UFC. Also its not like this exception is something that the UFC just put this into place. Its been there since the beginning.

There was no way for Brock to fight at 200 if the 4 month rule stayed in place for him and if he doesnt fight at UFC 200, he doesn't fight again until after Wrestlemania (April 2017). The language in the policy says:

An exemption may be given, at the UFC’s discretion, “in exceptional circumstances or where the strict application of that rule would be manifestly unfair to an Athlete.”

I'd say delaying his return by a year would be manifestly unfair to Lesnar.

I say all this to say that they arent going to sacrifice Chad Mendes just because a few reporters are complaining about the exception. The process is simple. USADA does the testing and reports failures to the UFC. The UFC reports it to the media. USADA decides the punishment.

Plus have you seen Mendes? I as shocked about him popping for drugs as I was Gleison Tibau and by that I mean I wasnt shocked at all.

All test results are available online, not sure if you need an account or not, but you can view testing dates and results.

Rumors is that Hendo may get a title shot against Bisping.

If this is true and gets announced in a few weeks then I'm gunna be pumped. This could be anyone's fight, and who knows he could actually be MW champ.

They better not, if they did it would be a gift to Hendo because he's never had ufc title. I think it's a money fight for the UFC, and Hendo has a much better chance against Bisping than Jacare.

I've also heard GSP's name mentioned, but that is very common these days.

That would be stupid as far as trying to be a real sport. Hendo has no reason to be anywhere near a title and should be getting a retirement fight.

              Devils advocate time:

Lets say Bisping wants to defend his belt in August/September. Rockhold is likely out because of the knee injury. Weidman is out because of the neck injury. Jacare has a meniscus tear and wont likely be ready. Romero is coming off of a failed drug test. Anderson is coming off of a loss. #7 Machida is too. So is #9 Uriah Hall.

So you are left with 4 choices: #6 Robert Whittaker, #8 Gegard Mousasi, #11 Derek Brunson or Hendo.

Brunson and Mousasi fight in July so that may put them out of contention. So its really Whittaker or Hendo. Whittaker has one 5 in a row but his biggest win is over Hall. Hendo doesnt have much of an argument either as he's 2-2 since returning to MW.

So there really isnt a clear choice. In that case, you take the fight that is going to generate more buzz and thats the Hendo fight.

They have to do another ultimate fighter if they fight. I became a Bisping fan after watching that comedy of a season.

Pettis vs Oliveira at ufc on fox 21 announced.

Surprised Charles is getting a back name after missing weight bad, and it not being the first time he missed weight.

Should be a good fight though, gotta think Pettis gets it done if the weight cut goes alright.

Michael Bisping pretty much just said on UFC Tonight that he wants Hendo.

So this pretty much seals the deal with this rumor. It looks like this is gunna happen.

Bisping vs Hendo for the MW Title.

It will be interesting to see what the UFC does to figure out women's flyweight champ. It will also be interesting to see what strawweights and bantamweights switch to flyweight besides Calderwood and Letourneau.
