Re: OS MMA Random Thread
Fractured skull or something? They tweeted that.
I didn't enjoy the whole Pokemon thing too much anymore after I found out about that.
Bellator are idiots. They were tweeting out clips of that finish before it even aired. Spoiling the fight for everyone. Very clever.Comment

Re: OS MMA Random Thread
I listened to Hunt's interview where he talked about being pissed regarding Brock and Bigfoot popping hot after fights and talking about the purse money deal and honestly I have a hard time disagreeing with him.
If missing weight gives the opponent 20 percent then I think PEDs should at least be the same, if not even more, he'll maybe even significantly more"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: OS MMA Random Thread
It's really bad sportsmanship imo. I get that it's fighting but to roll a Pokemon ball or whatever at some dude laying on the ground with a fractured skull is disgusting. It's weird bellator matched these two up. Evidently his skull fractured above his orbital, to me it looked like knee on the chin. There must have been some serious forces behind it.Comment

MVP is kinda known for being real cocky though. Also to be fair, he didn't know he caved the guys skull in when doing his pre planned celebration.
In retrospect it's kinda crappy, but it was all in good fun when it happened.
I agree putting the results all over the internet 4 hours before the event was aired was EXTREMELY lame though. I was gonna watch the Bellator event with some buddys but after that we didn't bother.
Ending up watching EBI 7 instead, and glad I did. It was insanely awesome.PSN: Lord__Hazanko

^^^^
Dude beat me to it, already had image URL copied.
Hope his surgery and recovery go well. His ex wife Cyborg started go fund me because Bellator is supposed to pick up hospital tab but most likely he won't be working for quite sometime.
Curious if its even possible to spar again after injury like that.Comment

Re: MVP shenanigans
I see nothing wrong with it. The fighters are their brand and they need to get/keep their names buzzing as much as possible. That celebration was RT'd all day and I saw guys that aren't even fans of MMA talking about it. Gotta make a name for yourself and it, literally, pays to have a personality.
As for cyborg, he has a gofundme set up to pay his medical costs. How does Bellator not cover that?!

Re: OS MMA Random Thread
On my TV I could dude was seriously injured, and even before I knew the extent of the injuries I thought it was in bad taste. Dude went down holding his face and kicking his legs.
I get he's trying to promote himself, but none of my favorite fighters do anything remotely close to that and most of them are extremely famous.
That's just the way I see things, I know I'm in the minority in the way I view things.Comment
