It wasn't bad, but nothing great. You missed some interesting drama where 1 fight was cancelled because a fighter supposedly took a pill before the fight. His corner man has some heart issue and supposedly the pills were his. The fighter said that they all looked alike and were wearing the same thing, so they had to be confused about who took it.

Gracie was really out, no acting there. He was actually winning the fight with his striking until that happened. He was backing up and then his momentum made him turn and fall. Looked weird, but he was out after the punch.

How long do y'all think it will be until Carwin gets another title shot?

Roy Nelson appears to have lost a lot of weight if this picture is any indication...

Eddie Alvarez and Michael Chandler just put on another sensational fight. I had EA winning 48/47 but it was close. Daniel Straus upset Curran for the FW belt as well, and King Mo lost to Newton again.

Ben Askren was released from Bellator.

"Longtime welterweight champion Ben Askren is a Bellator MMA fighter no more.

After a relationship with the fighter turned contentious, including a peculiar scenario in which company officials said they would consider waiving their matching rights if he were granted an immediate UFC title shot, Bellator Chairman and CEO Bjorn Rebney today announced he’s released the fighter.

“I’ve said it many times, Ben’s a completely one-dimensional fighter who is utterly dominant in that dimension,” Rebney stated. “I had a number of discussions with Ben, and it became clear it was time for both parties to move in different directions. We’ve relinquished any right to match here, and Ben can sign with whoever he chooses to sign with. Ben’s been at Bellator since the start of his career. I respect him and what he’s accomplished and wish him the best wherever he goes.”

Shane del Rosario apparently had a serious heart attack and is on life support. Unless there is a "miracle" he will probably taken off it shortly. Only 30 years old, that's sad.

I have been following this story every day since it was first reported.

It sounds like there is still some hope for him and he is showing signs of brain activity. I can't say strongly enough how badly I hope this young man somehow recovers.

GSP vacates the title. GSP is my favorite fighter so I have mixed feelings, but happy that he did what he felt was right.

There has been some stirring the past couple of days that Brock Lesnar is thinking about a UFC return in some capacity. I'm not sure how much truth there is to that, but the original source I saw it from has broken news in the past, so I haven't dismissed it completely.

Things sure were entertaining when Brock was around. I could see him back for a fight or two if is health allows it. Maybe he got some of his soul back that Overeem stole.

yeah the rumor is its Carwin for an opponent, but won't believe it until its fight weigh ins

Unless Brock has been training on his striking and sub game, nothing will have changed and he will get KO/TKO'd. Sure the UFC needs some PPV card boosts in the beginning of the year, but I don't really see Brock giving them anything.

It's a shame we can't go into the what ifs like what if Lesnar went to MMA instead of the WWE. What if he never got diverticulitis, etc.
I'm sure Dana would pay him a boatload of cash right now, especially with his biggest PPV draw gone and 2nd biggest one possibly about to retire soon as well in Anderson.
