      That's crazy

It it still due to this culinary union thing? Those key members are connected to them?

Nah. It actually came down to bad timing.

The bill has to pass the state senate and the house. Over the past 5 years, the hurdle has been Sheldon Silver who was the speaker of the house. He was in the pocket of the Culinary Union. He knew that bill would pass if he put it up for a vote so each year he would refuse to put it up for a vote.

Silver was indicted for Fraud and Bribery early this year and stepped down as Speaker. So it looked like this year was going to be the year.

What happened is the Democrats in NY have this stupid rule that they dont put any bill up for a vote that cant be passed without Republican help. As recent as a week ago, the Dems made enough changes to the bill that they had enough support. They need 76 votes and had 78.

For some reason, the Democrats still delayed bringing the bill to the floor and procrastinated thinking that the could bring it toward the end of the session. The problem with that was 5-6 of the yes votes went on summer vacation before the summer session ended and werent around to vote on it.

So because they didnt have enough Democrat votes, they decided not to bring the bill to the floor for a vote.

Yep, and even though he's stepped down, Silver still has a lot of power and influence.

I think a few people were probably encouraged to take a vacation before the vote.

USADA telling fighters they will no longer be able to use an IV after weight cutting. Big news if they are actually able to test for this. A lot of guys will be forced to move up or risk being to dehydrated for the fight.

If they catch someone, look out. Will see a lot more natural weight fights instead of extremes.

I'm worried about his gas tank and Machida catching him in that small cage, but I'm still rolling with Yoel. Hopefully he doesn't **** himself this fight.

Yoel has fought a few times in the small cage. Machida will also lose some of his movement advantage. As long as Yoel can get to him without being KO'd, he should win. I'm going with Yoel pounding him out.

Too bad I don't have FS2. The prelim headliner (Oliveira vs Merritt) should be a good fight
