He's gunna be a huge heel but overall in mma I think he can do pretty good. For some reason football players seem to be well quipped when transitioning over. (Mitrione, OSP)

There's something about football that prepares them for mma, maybe it's the violent way the game is played at the pro level, or they way football players need to be discipline in there actions when playing and preparing there body for the beating they get every Sunday. Also throw on the fact Hardy has a aggressive personality and I think you could have a recipe for success.

I agree. Also, I think that HW is a good division for guys crossing over since a lot of the newcomers that are having success are brawlers. I mean, there's still some guys with good ground games (mainly top control), but HW isn't as skilled as the other divisions, in my opinion.

I seriously doubt we'd see a CM Punk getting dominated by Gall repeat, well unless he fights Werdum, but I don't think the UFC would do that. Throw him in there against a Tim Johnson or Todd Duffee and let's see what happens. I'd be interested... If he loses badly great, let him find another career or something. If he wins that do the "battle of the women beaters" with him versus Travis Browne.

I just don't get this. GSP is gonna sell regardless of opponent and if a belt's on the line. Who in the hell wants to see this fight? They couldn't let Bisping/Yoel happen while giving GSP or tune-up?

This. This fight isn't really one I think ppl want to see. GSP would have sold regardless like you said. Rather see him and Yoel.

I know I'm in the minority here but I dont hate this fight given their choices.

Woodley wants to fight GSP but given the weight GSP has put on during his hiatus I knew it was likely he was moving up.

Wonderboy has stated openly that he never wants to fight GSP.

The Silva fight is only good for nostalgia reasons. Who wants to see this fight after that putrid Brunson fight. This was a great fight in 2012 but is meh in 2017.

I wasnt interested in a Nick rematch or Nate at 170 either.

So that really only leaves Bisping if GSP wants a belt.
