Just to clear it up.. He didn't sign because he's gonna have 15 more fights. The UFC essentially bought out the rest of his career. Meaning promotions like Bellator and WSOF can't get him in the future.

They arent gonna fight. Filming doesnt start until after the Diaz fight. Dana stated that there will each fight someone else.

I saw that right after I posted, I should've edited my post..

Anyway, this depresses me. I was so eager to see them fight when I first heard this. I'm guessing Anderson is going back for his belt and doesn't want to do miscellaneous fights outside of his division (I'm pretty sure if Shogun and Silva fought, it'd be at 205).

I'm pretty sure Anderson and Dana have an agreement behind closed doors that he'll get another crack at Chris Weidman if he beats Nick Diaz.

              Crazy times in the UFC.......

Cung Le was suspended, now he isn't because it turns out he passed his drug test after all......

Rumble was suspended and now he is back in the UFC because his civil case was dismissed. So everybody should apologize to Cung Le and Rumble, because they were both innocent.

Yves Edwards has retired. He's had a rough road these past couple of years, I had a feeling this was coming after the last L. I'll miss watching him fight. Long live the art of thugjitsu.

I've always been an Yves fan but it was time. I'll miss watching him eat candy right before walking to the scale during weigh-ins.

I'll miss watching Yves fight. The uncrowned champ at LW. He had a hell of a career. His interview on the MMA Hour today was very good with Helwani. His KO of Josh Thomson is still one of my favorites ever.

Alan Belcher is eyeing a summer return... at 205.

Why would he move up? He's gonna get destroyed at 205..

Well the UFC uniform is finally here. They partnered with Reebok and EVERY fighter will be required to wear the gear during Fight Week and during a fight.

Athletes will no longer be permitted to have outside sponsor logos on athletic apparel during UFC fight week official events, including fight night, UFC-produced content or other official UFC events.

And individual sponsor banners will no longer be permitted for the walkout or inside the Octagon beginning with the UFC event on July 11, 2015, coinciding with International Fight Week in Las Vegas, Nev. The new policy will start the week of July 6, 2015.

I bet the small unknown fighters like this, but the other big time fighters who were making money with sponsors probably aren't happy about this. I wonder if the UFC gets more money when the big names fight or if it is just a flat fee. The UFC better be paying everyone the same or more money now that they get. If not, look out because this may push them over the edge for forming a union.

Just another dime out of fighters pockets' going straight to Dana. This is ridiculous.

Not really. If the UFC is to be believed, the fighters get ALL of the revenue from this deal and the UFC doesnt make a penny.

To P_Rushing's point, it really doesnt affect many of the big name fighters because it only deals with in ring gear. For example, Jones/Silva/Dos Santos were all Nike fighters but because Nike wouldnt pay the sponsorship tax, they havent worn Nike in the Octagon in over a year. Nike still sponsors Silva/Dos Santos because they drive sales outside of the ring.

Same goes for GSP who is a Under Armour sponsored athlete but has never worn it in the Octagon. My point is big time fighters can still make a ton of money with clothing sponsorships outside of the UFC.

What sad is this pretty much crushes companies like Tapout, Bad Boy, Fear the Fighter etc. who made tons of money from walkout T's.
