Too many Brazilians went boring wrestling and can't finish on the ground for the prelims.

Main card made up for it though.

Yoel outclassed Machida in every phase of that fight. He needs to quit, Yoel was faster and Machida was running backwards most of the time. Maybe he can fight some other has been, but no more top 10 fights (Vitor shouldn't be in the top 10 without TRT, so he could fight him).

Not sure if Yoel will match up well for the title, but he has power.

Yoel is so explosive, it's ridiculous. That was a good fight, awesome finish.

Yoel is a beast for sure.

Machida looks like he's clearly lost a step to me. If I were him I would take a nice long vacation, get his head clear.

I was pulling for machida, as I tend to like the 'old guard' He is unique guy and looks like he should play Ryu is street fighter.

BUT, the whole fight just felt like I was waiting for him to get lit up. The vibe was he was constantly barely escaping extreme danger lol Yoel is very intimidating, he also showed a chin getting blasted a couple of times.

Yoel vs Weidman is certainly and exciting proposition.

The only thing that's gonna keep Romero from being champ is his cardio. He absolutely smoked Machida on that take down. Machida has always had great takedown defense, but has never been taken down in that Romero. Weidman took him down, but it was after a long, grinding exchange along the cage.

Romero just blew his doors off.

The most impressive think to me was how Romero was able to outstrike Machida... And landed the better shots.

Weidman was his last real fight. He was already on a decline, but since that fight, he has been broken. He can't take any shots on the ground and is getting stunned on the feet. Yoel had the smaller cage, so he didn't have to chase as much.

Not sure if Yoel will have anything for Weidman other than connecting a power punch.

Jesus, this new UFC uniform is such a bad idea. The shirts are all generic and basically look the same. Walkout shirts cost $80 now. So ****ty.

They are awful. I wouldn't wear one if one was give to me. They have the fighters name so tiny and they all look

That conference was terrible and poorly planned.

Nobody is going to buy these things and nobody is going to make money. This was not worth the fighters losing sponsorship money over.

Dana can say "now we're like the other sports" and I guess that's true, except for that one area of pay scale.

I dunno man.

Not sure why fighters couldn't keep their old sponsors on top of their reebok gear. They for sure need to allow way more customization

Also, for sure have the guys wear their fight cups next time.

Its a good point but it depends on the sponsor. Take Aldo. His primary sponsor is Venum, a t-shirt and fight gear company. Reebok isnt paying millions of dollars to have people wear other fight gear sponsors on its gear.

The flip of that is Mighty Mouse. His primary sponsor was Microsoft. There is NO reason why he shouldnt be able to put a Xbox logo on his shorts. There is no conflict.

The problem is there is no where to put them on this ugly thing. Plus I'm sure the UFC and Reebok would want money for the sponsor fee.

These are terrible. Spelling and name mistakes on the launch. No name fighters costing the same ridiculous amount. The woman asking the questions, Conor basically saying he doesn't care what brand the clothing is, so funny.

No unique personality at all, at least in team sports there are different colors and logos.

I hope they sell nothing. Maybe Dana will buy a bunch of it and just give it away to get people to wear it at the 7/11 fights.

TUF uniforms actually look better than this crap


I did see a side picture of Joana in fight apparel though, it what you can see looks fine, she also looks good with weight and cleaned up. On another note, Ronda looked rough and she usually looks better cleaned up.

Agreed. Not a fan. Let's hope some individuality is added as time goes on.
