Nosebleeds are going for $50 to $200 at StubHub.com. I could only imagine how much 104 tickets will go for. Hopefully they aren't that expensive when they go on sale Saturday.

I paid 65.00 on craigslist for section 300 which is right up there at the top, if I had the money I would have upgraded to section 200 for 100.00 but Im strapped so I went with what I could and will hopefully enjoy it. Just make sure you get in on the tickets the moment they go on sale to the public, thats where I made my mistake as I wasnt planning on going until pretty much 3-4 days ago which obviously by then I was stuck buying from a private seller. Im curious to see if tickets are still available come Saturday and if they will start dropping prices or not to try and move them before its too late.

        Predicitions?

I'm going with Couture, Jardine, and Maia.

For the rest of the card:

        Leben
        Vera
        Gonzaga
        Simpson
        Russow
        Duffee
        Munoz
        Auriello

Couture, Marquardt, Silva. I just don't see how Big Nog can win. He doesn't have the power of guys like Liddell or Lesnar, and he doesn't have the wrestling to put Randy on his back. His only chance is to submit Randy, but Randy hasn't been submitted in years. He's a smart, experienced fighter who's gonna get Nog down, sit in half-guard to control position and prevent armbar and triangle attempts, and do enough to ride out a decision.

I'm rooting for Maia, but I just don't think it's likely. He's got an obvious submission advantage, but not as much as in his previous fights, because Marquardt's a good grappler. And I just don't see Maia being able to get through Marquardt's striking consistently enough to even have a chance. The only way Marquardt loses is if his pride gets in the way and he willing grapples with Maia. I'm rooting for Maia to pull off another Sonnen-esque flash submission, though.

Silva/Jardine is closer, but I think Silva's got a slight advantage on his feet due to his power, and he's got a notable advantage on the ground. And Jardine's biggest strength, his kicks, could easily lead to him being put on his back, which would be bad. I wouldn't be surprised if Jardine won, though.

Oh, and upset of the night, Tuchscherer over Gonzaga. He's about a +275 dog, which is insane. He's 17-1 and won nine of his fights by strikes, which doesn't bode well for Gonzaga and his notoriously weak chin. He's around the 265 pound weight limit and a former Division II All-American wrestler, so it's gonna be hard for Gonzaga to put him on his back. And if he ends up on top of Gonzaga, Tuchscherer's been training with Greg Nelson, who also trains Lesnar, and that camp has had plenty of experience recently training big wrestlers on how to avoid submissions.

I just think his style is a nightmare for Gonzaga.

Agree completely, Im actually taking Tuchscherer to win the fight as well. Went to the weigh-ins today and it was a good experience, went by really quickly though. Obviously the local guys got the biggest pop from the audience but Gonzaga, Nog and Maia got rather large ovations as well as they were being introduced. Cant wait for tomorrow.

They put up a Nate Marquardt video blog to go along with the ones Randy's been doing this week. I'm not sure I'll ever get tired of these things.

I totally forgot this was today. I got an e-mail about it. Between my 360 hard drive transfer (it takes a hour and a half!) and this I really shouldn't have rented Fight Night today.

I don't think I've ever been less excited for a UFC. Too soon after the last one I guess.

I'm actually pretty excited for the card. Mainly for the Marquardt/Maia fight though.

Just bought a premium stream to this event for $5. Hopefully the card turns out well.

Ho-ly crap. Without spoiling anything, it's virtually guaranteed that there's going to be a sixth fight on the PPV.

Pretty sweet night of fights so far, then again its my first time attending an event live so that could be playing into it as well. Not to give anything away but there is something like a 7 second knockout in the prelims, so that was entertaining while it lasted.
