Their first fight was close but Tito did win. That first round, before he gassed, Tito looked the best I've seen him since before his first loss to Chuck. He owned Forrest on the ground and landed a lot of hard elbows.

If Tito gets this thing to the ground, it's a wrap. Standup, Forrest has an edge but I don't see him KO'ing Tito.

I'll go with Tito by UD in this one.
Tito via KO! forrest is screwed-up. I'm not sure he'll beat anyone of note again.

I am glad though because this is a much better fight.

Lesnar has pulled out of the fight with "severe flu" per Kevin Iole's Twitter.

        DAMNIT.

        This sucks.

How the hell is a severe flu gonna keep dude out for a fight that happens in nearly a month? I understand that his training regimen may not be up to par during that time, but seems kinda ridiculous to call off a title fight main event for a flu the month before the event.

Here's the Yahoo article. Says he hasn't been able to train for 3 1/2 weeks.

Ah, that makes more sense... if it's already been going on that long it might just continue.. and he's lost all that training time. If I was Brock's camp, I certainly wouldn't want him fighting without being in tip-top shape, so this is understandable. Still though, damn... there went that card. Maybe Dana can get a Machida/Shogun rematch ready that quickly... don't know what else he'd do other than try to hype up the Forrest/Tito fight way beyond what it will deliver.

This sucks. It went from a for sure purchase to going out to the bar and watching 106 now.

Way too quick for Machida/Rua. Dana will want to promote that. Tito and Forrest both have strong names so they may be able to carry it. Just bad luck for the UFC.

Man, I just heard the news....

That Sucks, Don't think I'll purchase the fight now. November was looking like a great month for MMA, now it looks so-so... With the exception being the Fedor fight on the 7th.

Hmm...possible but still not fair to either fighter with less then a month to prepare. If I'm Carwin I wait for Lesner. Plus they still dont have a fight confirmed the end of the year PPV (UFC 108) so that could headline.

That wouldn't really make sense though.. Carwin goes from title shot to.... [crap HW] in a non-title fight.
