Yeah...Carwin shouldn't lose his title shot because Brock got the flu...

Yeah, I saw your point. It was just wishful thinking on my part because I don't know if I can justify buying the fight now but, if they were to add another good fight, I could justify it.

        UFC 106
        November 21st 2009
        Mandalay Bay Events Center

        Announced fights:

Heavyweight Championship bout: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Shane Carwin
Light Heavyweight bout: Mark Coleman vs. Tito Ortiz
Welterweight bout: Jon Fitch vs. Ricardo Almeida
Lightweight bout: Kenny Florian vs. Clay Guida
Welterweight bout: Karo Parisyan vs. Dustin Hazelett

There's only 1 fight left from the original card.

        Brock out.
        Coleman out.
        Almeida out.
Fitch moved to 107 against Alves.
        KenFlo/Guida moved to 107.

        Karo/Dustin still on!...for now.

Hard to justify buying this one with what's on 107.

Yeah no kiddin. This is the worst main event ive seen in a while. I have no interest in seeing Tito get his butt kicked or seeing Griffin get clowned again and running off. Griffin needs to rebound though.

I think the UFC 105 free card is now better than this one.

Brocks my guy, I was ready to see him beat Carwin, setting up a monster of a fight between Brock and Velasquez. 2 all american wrestlers and brock has the NCAA championship under his belt too. Forget Big Nog, Velasquez is next in line, he is a monster. I was honestly laughing as Cain completely smash Rothwell. IFL?? lol, I guess we now know what Roy Nelson would look like in the UFC huh?

Looks like Koscheck is on the card now as the co-main event. Wonder who he's fighting? Hughes? Daley?

Honestly I'm looking forward to this one more than I was Lesnar/Carwin.

Wait a minute, I thought that if you cancel your main event you have to also fold as an organization?

I like the addition of Koscheck/Rumble.

Well at least Rumble wont have to cut a ton of weight since he just fought a week ago.

Kos vs. Rumble is a great matchup. We need to see Rumble against a top-5 WW to see what he's really made of. And, as aholbert pointed out, he won't have to worry about trying to cut a ridiculous amount of weight as he just fought last week.

Kosh smashes Rumble imo. Should be an exciting *** fight though.

I don't see how Kosh smashes Johnson.

Koscheck's started to think he's a boxer and has been standing up his last several fights and got his *** handed to him by Thiago.

If he tries to stand up with Johnson, he could quite possibly be murdered - Thiago showed that for sure. Johnson will hit him twice as hard as that.

If Koshcheck doesn't remember that he's a wrestler, it doesn't look that great for him. On top of that - we've never really seen Johnson wrestle yet. None of us really know how good or bad he is on the ground, or how good or bad his take down defense is.

Rich Clementi straight worked Johnson on the ground, so we have some idea how bad he is on the ground.
