I wonder if Anderson Silva will consider moving up to LHW now that his buddy doesn't have the belt.

I think Shogun vs Evans/Rampage winner, then you could set up a title fight against Silva.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

I'd love to see that fight though. Wow, Machida got japped in his eye. Goodbye lbs for lbs discussion for you.
Daley was a biznatch with that move at the end. Glad Kos dominated him and exposed his weaknesses.Comment

Re: UFC 113-Machida-Shogun 2, May 8th in Montreal.
It'll be interesting to see how Machida responds to his first loss. You guys think he will try to have a rubber match with Rua?
Not taking anything away from Shogun, but the punch that dropped Machida did land near the back of the head. (behind the ear, right on the top corner of his head) It obviously effected his equilibrium.
Shogun showed class in not pummeling Machida. Amazingly, Machida was totally out of it with Rua in the full mount. It didn't look like he was hurt that badly, and it was surprising that he didn't defend himself.
I'm guessing the punch that swelled Machida's eye was from the full mount strikes?Comment

Re: UFC 113-Machida-Shogun 2, May 8th in Montreal.
It could have to do with how impressive the winner of Rashad and Rampage is. Rampage is more explosive and should win.
I could see Rampage face Rua, then the winner facing Machida next year.Comment

Re: UFC 113-Machida-Shogun 2, May 8th in Montreal.
Machida does not deserve an immediate rematch as the fight wasnt even close. Its one thing when its a razor thin or controversial decision but when the guy gets knocked out in the first round I see no reason to try it all over again for awhile atleast.Comment

Damn, that's sad. I was a Daley fan before tonight as well. He'll come to regret that punch for sure.Comment
