I hope Rashad wins. Even though that means they'd probably end up going in circles with the title unless Anderson moves up. Nothing against Rampage, would just rather see Shogun/Rashad.

I think either matchup could be good but would prefer Rampage as I think he has a better chance of winning.

A lot of people will refer to Rampage's demolition in pride but that hyper-aggressive chute boxe muay-thai style that he struggled against is a different animal in the UFC. No soccer kicks/knees and the increased space to circle off mad rushes/flurries in the octagon is a big deal.

I'm guessing Rampage's strong chin and tight boxing matches up better than Rashad's good wrestling and counter-striking but who knows.

Not boxing, wrestling. I don't think Shogun has faced a top quality in their prime wrestler. Coleman and Randleman were past their prime when they fought Shogun. Even if he has,he certianly hasn't faced one in a cage. I think Evans could beat him with his wrestling even if it's Fitch style and get the title back. You know Rampage would want to stand and I can see that one ending in a Thai Clinch.

this. rampage might have more power as a striker, but as weve seen shogun is much cleaner and efficient. i dont see rampage winning a fight standing against the only guy to knockout machida.

If Rampage can get a shot at Rua he will be ready because Rua beat him in the past. The only thing that will bother Rampage is the kicks because he doesnt check them but if he can get close enough to throw then i think he can KO Rua. Yes Rua knocked out Machida but the punch that took him down was on the top/back of the head which took away his equillibrium so it wasnt like it was a flush punch that did it.

Rashad is just a total douchebag so i want to see him lose so bad

I still expect the PPV to come close to 1 million buys.
1 million buys? No chance. How many UFC PPVs have actually surpassed a million buys? A million buys is more than people realize.

I want Rashad to win, I think Rampage is the bigger d-bag out of the two. Either way, I think Rua is the one to hold the title for a while.

4, I think. Two involved Lesner (Both Lesner/Mir) Rampage/Chuck and Chuck/Tito 2. This will do 1 million buys and so will Lesner/Carwin. GSP/Hardy did 800k with less hype than either of those fights so they should do 1 mil.

Those look right. And, I agree with you on Carwin-Lesnar. That will definitely top 1 million buys.

Rampage-Rashad is going to be sold on the 3-week Countdown (or Primetime or whatever they call it) show that will begin soon. Having those 2 guys cutting promos on each other, showing training footage and footage from TUF will convince people to put down their money for this card.

Oh, and saw the A-Team trailer yesterday before IronMan 2; looks like a decent action flick.

People are estimating that the Lesner/Carwin fight may do 1.5 or better which would be better than Mayweather/Mosley.

I think niether Rashad nor Rampage can beat Shogun. I'll still be rooting for Rampage though. As long as he stays off his back and avoids leg kicks he should be able to beat Rashad.

                          1.5 million is A LOT

i dont know if it will do 1.5 million. It will break 1 million because of Brock not Carwin but 1.5 would take a lot. I think theyre saying Mayweather/Mosley was around 1.1 million.

UFC 100 did 1.5 and Lesner/Carwin will have more hype than that did. Lesner Carwin will have a UFC Primetime show (UFC 100 didnt). You have the dual storylines of Carwin being an undefeated monster who knocks people out in the first round and Brock's return to the octogon. ESPN will be all over it with MMA Live and Sportscenter. It will do 1.5 easy.

Yeah, with all those factors, I'd be stunned if it didn't do 1.5 million.

“I still want to clear [something] up…some of my fans don’t understand why I didn’t fight Rashad in the beginning. I don’t think…the fans that don’t understand now, I don’t think they’ll ever understand. Just because I’m a fighter, doesn’t mean I can’t do other things. I just want my fans to know…no matter what, even though I haven’t been in the cage for a while…people think that I went Hollywood, people always got negative stuff to say. People always underestimate me. I’ve been in this game for a while; I just think it’s funny. I’m just gonna go out there and do my job. I wanna knock Rashad out as quick as possible and get on with my career."
