So I caught Primetime on Spike last night.

This "feud" needs to stop, it's cheapening 114. Rashad/Page is certainly no Kos/Daley.

It seems contrived beyond words, and I wish they wouldn't resort to this just to hype their event.

It's not personal at all and all their little disses back and forth expose them as actors. They can't even make their "hate" for one another seem genuine.

Anyway, I hope there's more Primetimes and I hope they stop feeding into this supposed bad blood when it's just not there.

Seems typical to me, what makes Kos/Daley seem more serious than Page/Shad? The basic idea is that they don't like each other, isn't that what all these hyped feud fights stem from?

If anything Kos/Daley are much better actors.

The perception for years now [or whenver Page cracked Jardine] is that these two guys "hate" each other. Everything that I've seen from then until today doesn't convince me it's true.

All of this bantering just makes it seem very cheesy. They are both terrible at convincing me that it's personal.

The Kos/Daley thing didn't give me that vibe at all, whether or not their feud was real [which apparently it was].

Yeah you may be right, still a highly anticipated fight for me though, hope Shad takes it. I seem to be the minority with that one haha.

Oh I'm as hyped as anyone about it I just wanted to throw that comment out there.

When they were both on Ultimate Fighter their constant verbal battles got old quick. Made the program almost a joke to me.

I actually believe they dont like each other. Looking back at the TUF season and the faceoff they had after Rampage's last win, you could tell that Rashad really doesnt like him. Primetimes arent all about bad blood. Hardy/GSP's Primetime wasnt about that at all.

I believe it was genuine and actually more Rampage hating Rashad - 'shad seems like someone who would let water under the bridge and forgive and forget.

The truth in what you're saying, which I think is right, comes from the time delay. It's just so hard to stay mad at someone for THAT long. Even in my personal life, it's just way too hard and takes too much effort to truly hate someone and have rage towards them, ...you quickly become indifferent and forget how it was you were so angry with them to begin with.

I think after Rampage won and Rashad and him started talking back & forth to one another, i dont think Rampage hated him then, i think he was just having fun with him and amused that Rashad was talking. Then throughout TUF i think Rampage really started to hate Rashad and i think Rashad just hates how much Rampage talks (even though Rashad talks a lot himself). Then after Page decided to do the movie and Shad kept talking, Page started to hate him more. I now think Rampage just hates how cocky Rashad is and Rashad hates how much Rampage talks. This isn't a Mayweather situation where one guy is just trying to sell a fight, i think these 2 hate each other now and Rampage just wants to shut up Rashad and knock him out while Rashad i think will try to use his wrestling more and wants to shut Rampage up as well.

Either way there will be fireworks because Rampage fights are usually never boring.

and they def gave Rampage the better music on the show the other night. All of the music they played for his stuff had me pumped and ready and was good stuff.

Watch this compilation on youtube of most of their moments on TUF. To me, it's mighty clear this isn't an act and these dudes genuinely do not like each other. This upcoming UFC 114 might be the first PPV event I actually buy just to see this fight.

Hmm. I dont think those guys are that good at acting. Especially Rashad. I assume most "fueds" are contrived but just looking at Rashad's face in some of those arguments, its clear he doesnt like him. I'm not saying that these two would fight each other in the street but I dont think they are touching gloves at the beginning of the fight.

Actually that's how I feel in terms of "they're not good at acting". They're trying to build this thing up as if they have a dislike but as a viewer I'm not drawn in at all. I can see through their acts haha.

I've been following this thing for a bit and I've always felt they were forcing it.

Shad probably doesn't really care for Page, but I doubt it's anything to the extreme they're billing it to be. Page to me really doesn't sell it well on his side, and he's the supposed actor of the two.
