Thats funny because I actually buy their beef more than I did the Kos/Daley one. If it wasnt for Daley's late punch, I would have thought that it was a straight act. Those guys were making photo shopped pictures of each other. Is that beef?

With the Page/Shad thing it's been "building" for several months now if not longer. What I hear from fans/media is different than from what I see from them or from what I hear from their own mouths.Comment

Wow. This clip has a lot of insight into Jackson's mindset.
A lot of what he said we probably already assumed, but Jackson was very open, I respect that.
He's already upset with UFC again.
"If I could have things my way... I would still be retired"
"Right away they messed things up, already I'm not happy with them again"

I've been saying for over a year that the UFC screwed Rampage. They set a precedent that if a champion loses his belt, he gets another shot at the belt if he wins one or two in a row. Penn, GSP and Franklin all received title rematches within that time. Rampage is now having to beat a 3rd fighter just to get a shot at the belt again.
I disagree with the other stuff Rampage said though. Ive never heard of the UFC messing with people's afterparties or interfering with sponsors. Shoot, Rampage is one of the few MMA fighters signed to a major athletic company (Nike).Comment

Re: UFC 114 - Rashad vs. Rampage
Fairly solid interview but how can he say he wants to retire Forrest based on what he did after their fight? What did Forrest do after the fight anyways? Griffin is anything but respectful so I really dont understand where he is coming from with that comment.
Having said that, Rampage is an idiot. UFC sells 10% of their company and he thinks they should give some of that money to the fighters? LOL, give me a break, he makes more then enough money between his fights and his sponsorships, not to mention outside sources of revenue like doing the A-Team. I dont care if he got screwed in terms of a title shot, last I checked, when he had his complete meltdown there was one guy who came to his defense and tried to help him and thats the guy that hes now trashing, extremely classy. Hopefully Rashad destroys this guy as I really just cant stand his bull**** anymore.Comment

Re: UFC 114 - Rashad vs. Rampage
But to be fair, the decision was made prior to that happening as it was made the moment they made him and Rashad coaches on TUF. Rampage certainly has a legit complaint about not getting a title shot quick enough based on what has happened with other fighters but the rest of the bashing is idiotic imo.Comment

Wow - Rashad is so clever... "Quiton"... Amazing. Did a 3 year old tell him that one? He's so funny and clever.
I hope Rampage splatters his brains all over the mat.Comment

Re: UFC 114 - Rashad vs. Rampage
I know a lot of people are stoked for this but I think Rampage is going to destroy Rashad and with Forrest having to drop from the card, Im just not all that interested in this one either. I will catch it online like I usually do but I really see no way Rashad can do anything to Rampage. Jackson will beat him up on the feet, make Evans pay if he tries for the takedown and will toy with him in the later rounds as Evans realizes there isnt anything he can do to win the fight. Evans' only hope at winning is to implement Griffin's gameplan and beat him up with leg kicks hoping to outpoint Jackson because I dont see any area where Evans is remotely better then Rampage.Comment

Re: UFC 114 - Rashad vs. Rampage
i dont think Rampage will bother toying with him, i think he's going to come out and try to finish him. He's going to pace himself and not go too crazy but Rampage does a good job of blocking and countering and he throws so damn hard that if he lands its lights out for Rashad. Rampage has a good chin, as we saw against Hendo he can hold his own on the ground if it does go there and i think he's not going to just let Rashad leg kick him to death like Forrest did. Rampage seems really focused, his training seems like its the best its been in a long time and i think he's going to take care of business. The guy doesnt get enough credit for how good he is. Rashad said Rampage hasnt been in with anyone that great lately but he sounds like a complete moron saying that. Other than Marvin Eastman he's fought top names in the UFC fight after fight. The guy hasn't had an easy opponent since Eastman.
I agree that the card looks weak but since i'll be down at my dad's house for it i'll order it there since he and my stepmom will pass out early and he wont care if i order it so since i wont have to pay i might as well just order it.Comment
