This demo is driving me crazy to the point where I'm considering cancelling my pre-order because I dominate on Experienced [ No Fun ] and get dominated on Advanced [ No Fun ].

Move up to expert, I was getting killed on advanced, but expert is balanced.

flick RS left or right, but you have to time it right ... also I don't know if all guys can do it

Ok I seen foot stomps. Rua just foot stomped me to death up against the cage. And I seen Machida throw a spinning back kick but he missed me.

Is it just me or does the cpu get out of subs way too quick ?

A few of things I don't like so far after about 6 hours of playing:
1. Jumping kick animations are stupid and over exaggerated
2. Machida's take down is unstoppable unless you manually defend it
3. Might just be me but I hate "the shine"
4. Shogun litterally reverses every transition when he is mounted
5. Everytime I get the Muay Thai clinch, the CPU does two quick transitions before I can throw a knee
6. Machida and Evans are a bit too agressive
7. Jabs are useless and slow, ans 1,2 combos are non-existant

These are all while on expert difficulty. Other than those I'm satisfied with the demo. Still have to work on my stand up game and learn how to use sways.

Ok I can clearly see which move will be spammed alot online.

THE PUSH UP AGAINST THE CAGE

OMG being that this move is really based off strength, because with Rampage I can push Machida up against the cage with ease.

So it got me to thinking, Rampage not even the strongest person in the UFC. So just imagine fighting against a person using Brock, Shane Carwin, Cain Velaquez, Marcus Jones or Roy Nelson.

All they going to do is pin a person up against the cage and dominate.

I completely agree and I am worried about this...but I don't really take sports games online too often because something gets cheezed...and I think this will be it.

In need of some major help with the controls. I only know the basics and totally blow on the ground, wether im in mount or being mounted. Id very much appreciate it if anyone could do a quick write up explaining some of the ground game and anything else other then your basic stuff. I did not purcahse the first, im a huge UFC fan but i just havent quite gotten down all the controls. I would love to pick it up this year and learn it all, what better way to start than the demo. Ive played it for about 3 hours and still suck. Any tips and some help would be great, thanks.

I found a cheat with Rua. Anytime someone gets a take down on him and ends up in guard. Just hold LB+clicking RS to do sub. It will do the omaplata submission. Then you just click in the left stick to quit the sub and you are out and off your back everytime. Cheap as hell. Hope this gets fixed before online other wise I see a exploit.

I'm loving the demo. I'm not winning a lot,but that's alright. I finally beat Rampage on advanced with Shogun. I kept getting flash Ko'd so I decided to change up my strategy. In the fight I won

I wore him down with leg kicks and then started going for takedowns. I controlled the fight on the ground just tiring him out and eventually knocked him out with a muay thai knee in the third.

So you are upset because the only way to stop a take down is because you have to do it manually?

I believe they had some of these last year too where you could go for something toward the arm and the CPU had to standup to get out of it and thus you could just get up right after. Kind of sucks and I don't think it will be fixed or at least not right away definitely good to know and be aware of for when you play online.

played about 10 fight now on expert and I think UFC 2009 is better than 2010. It's a lot of little things I don't like, e.g. that the fighters' techniques aren't shown in the screen where u can select the fighters. And "normal" punches like jabs seem to have no effect at all, and hard uppercuts and stuff also don't look good. In 09 you could really see how punches hit hard, now everything looks like girl slaps that have no effect at all. I hope EA will do a better job with their MMA game.
