I have been playing this game for a few days now, and I use the blocking button, and I rarely ever get knocked out. What demo are you guys playing? If the computer gets aggressive, use the clinch and take him down. You dudes must be playing Fight Night style, because how are you getting knocked out so much? I rarely ever lose in this demo now that I fight a more sim style fight.

Dude, is that what you guys are complaining about? If your able to consistently knock the computer out in 4 seconds, then can you please teach me how? You must be an expert because if I choose to slug it out with the computer right after the bell, I will lose. What level are you playing on, and who are you knocking out that fast?Comment

Re: UFC 2010 Undisputed Demo Available, Post Impressions Here
On advanced, I just stand and box vs Rampage with Machida and I'm able to knock him out before the first round ends. I've knocked him down with the first punch. I've rocked him with a head kick in the beginning of the first round.Comment

Re: UFC 2010 Undisputed Demo Available, Post Impressions Here
I think the problem is that all four fighters in the demo do not have a reputation of getting knocked out easily. In their bouts against each other most of the fights went to decision. Thats what bothers me a bit.Comment

Granted that happened. but overall throughout their career, they don't have a reputation of being KO'ed often or early into the fight.Comment

Re: UFC 2010 Undisputed Demo Available, Post Impressions Here
But, they have not taken unblocked power shots to the head either often or early in their fights. If they took shots like you are seeing in this game during their careers, they would all have sustained brain damage, and retired after a few fights.Comment

Is Machida undefeated? If so, shouldn't he be more difficult to beat, and easier to win with than someone with a average record. Is it unrealistic that a undefeated fighter could win a match quickly?Comment

Re: UFC 2010 Undisputed Demo Available, Post Impressions Here
But yes it is unrealistic. Only 3 of his fights have ended in the first round.
One by submission at 2:30,one by doctor stoppage against Bonnar at 4:21 and the KO against Thiago Silva at 4:59. In addition Shogun hasn't been finished by strikes or KO'd (again could change in a few hours),he has 4 losses,2 by sub,1 by decision and he broke his arm in the other.Last edited by goh; 05-08-2010, 04:56 PM.Comment

Re: UFC 2010 Undisputed Demo Available, Post Impressions Here
Idk...
Guys are confusing THE UFC with K1...
Maybe its because the blocking vs Power strikes(too many power strikes and not enough blocking)
but put those aside, most of those power shots and multiple strikes should result in a knockdown, rocked moment or both at the same time...One punk ko's should be RARE...
Oh and if everyone has a high rate of "one punch/kick power"
Why use Rampage or Cro Cop???
Why bother using Kimbo when I could use Marcus Jones who prolly has the same chance of a one punch strike plus has a better move list???
If he was in the game, what is the point of picking James Toney???Last edited by Jukeman; 05-09-2010, 11:45 AM.Comment

I gotta say - rocking a guy when you've got his back and then just blasting him with power shots to the head is awesome. Just won that way for the first time; Rua over Jackson.Comment

Re: UFC 2010 Undisputed Demo Available, Post Impressions Here
i just downloaded the demo last night. Submissions need to be redone for next year. This shine crap is stupid. It was dumb last year, its even worse this year because thats the only way to defend submissions. In 2 of my fights i got put in a submission and before i even had a chance to shine my guy tapped out. Like less than 2 seconds after being in the submissions. They dont give you enough time to get out of it, it was, submission & tapout before i could blink.
I will say though that this game feels much better than last. I had a sweet KO with Rampage over Rashad that looked just like when Rampage KOd Wandy. I blocked the right side of my head from a punch from Rashad, dipped the head a little and in perfect motion came back and KOd him with a left hook. It looked exactly like Rampage knocking out Silva where it was one fluid motion from block to punch.Comment

Re: UFC 2010 Undisputed Demo Available, Post Impressions Here
They have rampage's high guard and and if not a signature lunging left, an eerily similar one.. pretty much perfect.
I am happy they changed people's blocking/guard (or at least the fighters in the demo) to look more realistic. Shogun's super high guard and lyoto's low guard both look good, as does rampage's tito-style elbow-curl on head strikes.Comment
