I actually expect Jones to win this fight. I know he's young but after the Bader fight I think he's possibly the top of the class at 205. He's just that good.

Main card looks very weak.......but then again the weakest looking cards on paper turn out to be one of the best shows, LOL.

Very weak? A bit harsh IMO.

I think it's an acceptable card with the last two bouts being able to carry the rest.

The under card does look very intriguing as well

Shogun vs. Jones is worth the price of admission alone.

I dont know about that. Faber's UFC debut. Nate vs. Aki should be a hell of a fight. Cro Cop v. Schaub should be decent to. Thats not even talking about the fact Jones is fighting.

                  What?

Shogun/Jones title fight, Faber/Wineland is 2 top 10 bantamweights, Akiyama/Marquardt should be exciting, Benavidez/Loveland and Assuncao/Gamburyan are both great undercard fights, and Barbosa/Njokouiani should be a stand up war.

That's without counting one of the best lightweights in Jim Miller and a good heavyweight prospect in Schaub.

128, 129, and 130 are all stacked IMO.

Also Shogun said Rampage turned down a title fight when Rashad was injured.

“The UFC thought of other options, but they didn’t work out,” Rua tells Brazilian site Tatame.com in a new video interview. “For some reason, [Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson] didn’t accept it.”

                          The hell...?

Whatever, Page's loss and Bones' gain.

                          Can't wait for this.

I understand it. Probably weight related. Ramp walks around at a much 220-230 and was prepping to cut for a fight in late April. Probably wasnt in fighting shape yet and its tough to make weight 6 weeks ahead of schedule.

                              Basically.

Rampage isn't really known to keep himself in shape year round and it's suicide for him to go in there and basically spend his whole camp to try and get him in shape. That's what probably happened against Jardine and that almost cost him.

Rampage would catch a beating against Shogun (again) without the proper time to train and make weight. I would love to see a Rampage - Shogun rematch even though I think Shogun puts on a good ol' Chute Boxe beating on Rampage again..

So, Rashad is definitely going to find another weight-class if Bones wins.
