Could be Jones/Rampage v. Evans/Ortiz for the belt. Depends on how quick the Jones/Rampage fight goes.

The Jones/Rampage fight happens on Sept 25th and UFC 140 is on Dec 10. It's probably not enough time for a full camp. Unless it's a special circumstance, most guys go at least 4 months between fights.

If it's Jones vs. Evans in the main event, I would go for sure but I don't see it happening on this card.

What about Anderson-Sonnen if they both win? Or is that not enough time for Sonnen to get off his cycle?

Possibility. Sonnen would definitely take that fight,

How about the Jones/Rampage winner vs Hendo?

Rashad should and will get first dibs on a title shot if he wins. If he loses, then I would say they should put the winner of a Hendo/Machida fight as the next title shot.

I think Rashad does too, but I think that fight would be awesome. Also though, Rashad and Bones and Rampage have grudges, so that would sell the fight well.

                  2 new confirmed fights today:

                  Rory McDonald vs. Brian Ebersole
                  Rich Attonito vs. Claude Patrick

I had and still have a bad feeling about this card. The UFC could have put Lesnar vs Overeem on this card. Instead I think it will end up being some combination of Hendo/Machida/Davis in the Main Event and Ortiz vs. Franklin in the co-main event.

Come on Van. Y'all got St. Pierre/Shields...you can't get Brock too in the same year.

I think I'm greedy because based on all the hype from Dana, I was actually disappointed with the UFC 129 card on paper, lol. He said it was going to be a special event and than you have Brilz vs. Matyushenko on the main card.

In a twisted way, the UFC doesn't need to stack the Toronto cards since the UFC is so popular here. They are better off saving the big names for other cities where the UFC isn't that big.

I consider myself a diehard UFC fan but I'm probably going to watch 140 on PPV instead of watching it in person.

                        Van,

You had 2 championship fights, Lyoto Machida, Randy Couture and Ben Henderson. 6 total current or former champs. You can't ask for a better card.

When the UFC announced they were going to Toronto, I wanted GSP vs. Silva or Jones or Lesnar on the card.
