Yea, I didn't hear anything cocky in that at all. I follow Bones on twitter and I think he's very humble. Is it really cocky if you call yourself the best and your the champion?Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

Re: UFC 140 - Jones v. Machida- Dec. 10
It's definitely a style that nobody else can offer up, so I'm not gonna sit here and say Jones is going to run through or dominate or has very little chance of losing. But seriously, I think Machida is gonna have to knock this guy out because I don't see him winning a decision.
Also I think he's a strange guy. For instance, when UFC had Rashad go into the cage after Jones beat Rua... Bones threw a little diva fit saying Rashad ruined his night for the second time. Lol. Strange. I actually felt bad for Rashad, as he was probably forced to go in there and have the staredown.Comment

Jones just seems confident to me. If you don't think you can win you shouldn't be in there. Even then there's good cockey and bad cockey. Anderson Silva is the good kind. Rashad Evans is the bad kind.
Jones just won a fighter of the year award btw.
Prediction time!

The octagon implodes when they both try some crazy thing at the same time. Jones retains through NC.Comment

You know, after hearing JJ on Opie and Anthony I hope he gets his butt kicked.
He came across incredibly cocky and arrogant.
He kept saying stuff like "I still can't believe I've only been training in MMA for 4 years and look how awesome I am".
It was non-stop. And he's totally looking past Machida. He kept referencing a fight he wants with Evans.
Jones is dominant right now, but if he doesn't keep his ego grounded and continues to look past opponents, it wouldn't surprise me if he gets stopped in the near future.
It's happened to every 'dominant' MMA fighter and boxer in history.Comment

No, but I don't see anyone at MW knocking him out or destroying him.

I DVR'd Unleashed last night that had the Jones-Rampage fight. It's crazy how fluid Jones is with his movement, and he was towering over Rampage. You'd think he had been in the game for 10-plus years. He totally dominated that fight and just focusing on his movement, style of attack and poise in the cage, I think this may be a more one-sided fight that I originally thought.Currently Playing:

Everyone has the new dashboard now, no? Or is the free PPV just tied to the accounts that were in the preview program?Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment
