Re: UFC agrees to deal with FOX?
Definitely, for the one in Toronto. 139 will be set if they can get Hendo Bendo Guida and Rua if they can get all of them.
To see how fast things are looking up in the sport is amazing to me. It's like we're experiencing the golden glory days of MMA. Hard to compare it to an era in another sport, but I feel like we're living in what will be esteemed history. Maybe like the 80's in the NBA? IDK.Comment

Re: UFC agrees to deal with FOX?
If I bought non-refundable plane tickets to San Jose I would be pretty uspet.
I remember some media members said they wouldn't give away super fights on Fox and keep them on PPV. This fight blows away what I thought would be on the first Fox card.
There's also a 1hr primetime special on Oct 30th to hype up the fight.
I'm just praying there are no injuries. This fight will be huge for the entire sport.Comment

Re: UFC agrees to deal with FOX?
Even though I just started truly following the sport just after PRIDE folded, I still feel very lucky and fortuante to be able to have said I was a fan from that point on. I really do appreciate all of these cards. UFC/WEC/Strikeforce and the others that have folded recently.Comment

I remember when I was in 8th grade (2001), my buddy and I would wall around to the video store and rent UFC tapes. I remember getting the game on PS1. I stopped watching it for a bit b/c the store stopped carrying the tapes and I had no clue how to keep up w/ it.
Then at random times I would catch pride events, I would never remember the time or channel.
It's just amazing to see this sport evolve the way it has. I talk to my middle school players and UFC is bigger than wrestling to them.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

Re: UFC agrees to deal with FOX?
Hmm. They wouldn't just bury that on a Facebook prelim. Maybe they can still pull off something with Spike? FX probably has college football on at the time so I doubt they will be able to show an hour of prelims.
Unless Cain/Dos Santos ends round 1 we won't see that fight because there's a high chance that it goes 3 rounds.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

The only option the UFC has is to stream it live on the internet and/or air a reply on Fox if there is enough time left on the broadcast.Comment
