Re: UFC agrees to deal with FOX?
Yep, Dana and Lorenzo stated they will never let a network control production.
I see them pulling huge numbers for Saturdays which is all Fox wants. If they do 6 million thats a huge win for both the UFC and Fox. The schedule will probably be a card in January (the weekend in between the Championship game and the NFL), April (Avoiding May Sweeps), August (Avoiding Football) and December (Avoiding College Football).
With a NFL lead-in while the animation block is still in repeats but before the MLB playoffs.Comment

Re: UFC agrees to deal with FOX?
Thats the one downside to this deal. I dont think we will see as much on air UFC content on FX. Most of that will be on Fuel. Unlike Spike, FX has a ton of movies, original series and other sports like college football. Where we would see things like UFC Unleashed marathons on Spike, I'm not sure we will see that on FX.Comment

I think they could replace certain movies because they replay them a lot.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: UFC agrees to deal with FOX?
The video isnt working for me. The changes to TUF are kind of crazy and am I the only one that thinks Cain v. JDS is going to be the first Fox event?
EDIT: Doesnt look like thats the case. Nov 12 in Anaheim is the first Fox card but Cain/JDS is Nov. 19 in San Jose. Who could be on the Fox card? Brock? They need someone big for the first broadcast TV card.Last edited by aholbert32; 08-18-2011, 12:32 PM.Comment

Re: UFC agrees to deal with FOX?
I think its nice that we are going to get some good MMA on Fox now but hate that Fuel is going to have the prelims since I dont get the channel at all.
EDIT- What are the changes to TUF? I must have missed this part of the press conference.Comment

Re: UFC agrees to deal with FOX?
No changes to production and UFC will control it. Fuel will air the Pre and post show fights. Fight Nights go to FX.Comment
