Straight addicting. This whole weekend ive been playing this game. Exhibition, tournaments, fight cards, and online. I haven't even touched career yet. Loving that every fight doesn't feel or look the same.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

48 fights, which spans 10 years, is the max. Age don't matter. I was 28 when I retired.Comment

Man, the CPU is just owning me in the standup game on Advanced. I try to use dodges, feints, jabs, and combos, but it seems like the CPU is psychic and just throws perfectly timed haymakers to knock me out, even when using a fighter not known for striking. I would move down to Experienced, but it's just too easy. Any tips, guys?Comment

GMSS: good posts, was wondering if you used normal or sim energy and have you tried ultimate difficulty does that give you a challenge? going an entire career with just 2 losses would seem boring to me, but I understand that you found a style that works wellComment

But in order to fill out my roster, it was just something I had to do ONCE and I will just copy him over and over again making other fighters out of him. Then I will just start doing what I like doing best.
Set up my own league and watch the cpu vs cpu duke it out. My own little enjoyment, it relaxes me. Just like in NCAA 12, Madden and NBA 2K, I played coach mode.
Grant it this game don't have true coach mode, but cpu vs cpu is close enough since this year you rarely see the same exact fight over and over between 2 people. Each one be different.
Plus with CAFs, I've gotten pretty good in making the CPU CAF behave and fight the way I want them to fight. 150 fighters plus CAFs = never a shortage of match ups.Comment

Re: Official UFC Undisputed 3 Impressions Thread
At the end.....my over all was a 87, ranked number 1, defended my title 16 times. Longest winning streak was 18 twice. My career record was 46-2 on expert.
When I copied my fighter, his over all shot up to 97.
I didn't learn any moves outside of the mandatory one. Didn't level up any moves either in career mode. There was no point to it. In my career because of my speed, which was at 85 for majority for my career as a heavyweight, that is all I needed was speed.
I had 20 KO's, 10 submission wins and the rest TKO victories. Only 4 fights in my whole 48 fight career went passed the first round. My only 2 loses came from KO, Kongo and Rothwell.
I submitted Mir, Nog, Struve, Goodridge, Coleman, CroCop, Shogun, Evans all with the basic level 1 armbar and RNC.
Speed kills......I KO'ed a lot of them with counter punches.Comment

Re: Official UFC Undisputed 3 Impressions Thread
If you play as heavyweight or bantam weight, you get extra points and you can redistribute them anyway as you wish. Which is why I never bothered doing camp sessions, since at the end once you copy your fighter, you can redistribute that as well and can choose what ever move you want your fighter to have along with what level rating for that move.Comment

Re: Official UFC Undisputed 3 Impressions Thread
I must've did something wrong because I'm not getting a whole bunch of extra points to use with this trick. It only shows me as having 200 available points to use for my skills. I finished my Heavyweight career with an 85 overall and when I redistribute the points into different categories the highest I'm able to get it is 90 overall. I won't be able to make a Prime Fedor unless I do this stupid career again and earn more points. This is so ********. Why do they make it so hard to make a guy the way that you want.Comment

Re: Official UFC Undisputed 3 Impressions Thread
I had alot of fun with career mode... and some frustration ha. I finished with a 37-11 record(advanced), 90 overall LH. I thought I'd never get a chance to win the title.. kept losing 1-2 in a row after climbing to the top 10. I stayed in that 10-15 range WAY to long. Finally, climbed high enough for a title shot and won, only to lose it against Jones in the next fight(who I had avoided fighting my whole career lol.. had no choice this time!). I spent my last year winning the pride GP, and never got a chance at a rematch for MY title!Comment

Re: Official UFC Undisputed 3 Impressions Thread
Seems a lot of people are playing on Advanced. I just went with what the Career mode tutorial suggested, which was Expert, but I think it may have been the wrong choice. I'm currently 7-7 and still in WFA, jumped from MW to LW because I was getting smoked, now I can't beat guys who are equal to me in ratings (roughly 72ish).
I played a couple Career matches on Advanced and found that I was winning pretty easily. Do the matches get more difficult in Advanced? Am I just wasting my time and sanity trying to grind through the WFA on Expert? Haha, any advice would be awesome!Comment
