Has THQ addressed the issue with the Gamestop Contenders Pack? The fighters can't be used in Event Mode. Hopefully this issue will be patched.

I've used Brian Stann and nick diaz in event mode.

got the game 2 days ago and im a little disappointed
don't get me wrong the pride and presentation in game & graphics are awesome
but the AI is so predictable in nearly every difficulty they are beatable in the 1st 2nd round with ease this is just boring and to make it worse they can't fix the servers? come on 2 yrs of waiting for this? what a waste of 65 bucks

How about showing us a video of you beating a CPU opponent on sim settings and in ultimate difficulty as a proof? I'm so interested to see how you can beat the AI in the 1st-2nd rounds "with ease", like you mentioned.

I've used Brian Stann and nick diaz in event mode.

Nick Diaz and mayhem work fine for me but Davis and stann always kicks me out of event mOde because it can't locate he dlc or something like that

After a little over 17 hours of gameplay, finally got my 1st submission victory. As JDS, made Bob Sapp tap in the 3rd to a RNC

I has that issue but changing stann's part in the card fixed that.

Has anybody finished somebody with leg kicks yet? I can't do it no matter how hard I try. I just finished a match of Jon Jones (me) vs rampage sim stamina and advanced difficulty . I landed 43 leg kicks almost all of then as counters and it only caused 53% damage. How many freaking kicks do I have to land!? This is annoying me to no end. Rampage didn't even try to check my leg kicks and its no wonder since it takes possibly 80 to actually effect him.

In career mode i noticed you can win pretty easily by leg kicks(stoppage). I made a lil personal rule for my career mode not to use too many leg kicks as they feel a lil over powered.

Are you doing power kicks? my guy only has 75 or so for kicks and it takes about 30 kicks to finish an opponents leg. maybe its different on other modes?

How do you time reversals? Are you guessing or going for it as soon as you see the opponent start to transition?

In career mode i noticed you can win pretty easily by leg kicks(stoppage). I made a lil personal rule for my career mode not to use too many leg kicks as they feel a lil over powered.

Well I just used the same setting this time I was Aldo vs Grispi. I landed 101 leg kicks almost all stepping in power kicks. Grispi had 100% damage when it went to a decision. He never once dropped from the kicks or slowed down. About to call it quits with trying to use leg kicks. They are absolutely worthless in my opinion so far.

I haven't tested it but I was wonder.

fighter A: kicking offense
fighter B: Kicking defense

You can go into practice mode and turn on paper doll and see power hits do between 3% to 5% damage unblocked. You need 100% damage to one area leg/body/head to end the fight.

Ive ended fights with kicks and never reached the 60 world, so I'm thinking its about Kick Off/D.

Thats good to hear, because certain guys can end fights in a lot less than 60 kicks.

Yeah just like KO's, how fast you can end a fight with leg kicks depends on the person leg kick offense and the other person leg kick defense.

It is like that with everything in the game.

Punch offense goes with punch defense

Ground strikes offense goes with ground strikes defense

Kick offense - kick defense

Sub offense - sub defense

I mean that is why I can KO people with 2 or 3 head kicks using Crocop or Kongo. Or KO people with 2 or 3 punches with Bob Sapp or Brock Lesnar.

All depends how high their offense is in a certain category.

I must say the ref breaks up the clinch against the cage way too fast. I was kneeing the CPU to the gut up against the cage and after the 3rd knee he breaks us up. I was like WTF ?

I hate the automatic breaks up from the muay thai clinch. It is like don't even bother giving a character high clinch grapple since they going to automatically break your hold anyway.
