I've noticed that Goldberg does a real bad job of talking over the action. There were several significant shots landed that unless you were really watching you wouldn't know because Goldberg had to hear himself talk.

It's terrible. I believe it was during the Condit/Diaz PPV, not sure which fight it was but Goldberg was talking, someone landed a huge head kick and he said nothing about it.. a couple of minutes later, without another head kick landing, he goes "that was a huge head kick".

Wait, what head kick? The one thrown two minutes ago?

The more I play the more apparent it becomes that these guys have never seen an mma fight before.

Guys with no striking can move like anderson silva, having full mount reversed, getting butterflies on the bottom and transiton to side control. How often do you see fighters use butterflies to reverse position. The a.i just seems to cheat to win. I dont mind losing when I should lose, not because they land 3 punches to rock me and can just walk forward and dodge every punch and catch every kick.

The game is good but could be great

The aggression of the a.i. is sometimes hilarious. I was Silva vs Franklin. The cpu literally had Franklin always stalking me within one foot of me. He would just dodge my strikes so I just kept clinching him. The problem I have seen with the a.i. is that they are 1) Way to hook happy. You can literally just use jabs and straights to win a decision because they seem to only want to throw hooks. 2) The cpu "stalking" needs to be toned way down. Who in their right mind would stand one foot away from Silva? Thats a recipe for destruction. Because of this mindset if you keep walking backwards and let them get right up on you all you have to do is shoot for a clinch and take them down 3) What is up with the cpu catching punches when you ground and pound? Having mount sucks because if you throw one punch they will immediately pull you back down. 4) the reversals are just stupid on higher difficulty levels. The gave like half the fighters the ability to reverse out of full mount to open guard top. I have never ever seen anybody do this in real life.

All in all I'm enjoying the game. However it can go from good to great just by tweaking the a.i. The terminator mode has to go. The psychic cpu gets old too. Nothing like throwing head shots for 4 minutes and the first kick to the body you throw they catch.

i agree on the higher difficulty levels( expert) especially the cpu reverses almost everything i do against the top ufc guys. i gain mount and then get reversed and tapped yet my ground game is rated higher and my subs are in the 90s? i feel like on expert the ratings go out the window and all fighters are pretty insane on the ground. hopefully they can patch the a.i aggressiveness and maybe make attributes mean a bit more.

Does this title still cap your legacy progress, ie dictating how many fights I can participate in? The last version I played sort of irritated me because it capped my fights at 40 or 50, something like that. Is that still the case?

I just had my first draw but im having some major issues. For some reason when I'm trying to block the punches still get thru and lately I been losing all of my matches against computer. I didn't have this issue when I first got the game. I need help

Try your Rb button on a different game, your controller just might be unresponsive.

I just had my first draw but im having some major issues. For some reason when I'm trying to block the punches still get thru and lately I been losing all of my matches against computer. I didn't have this issue when I first got the game. I need help

Pressing the block button instantly won't block shots. It takes time to get the hands up and in position. So you have to be cautious with your timings and any button mashing can result in mishaps trying to block incoming shots. Plan your attack or defense and use a slow pace. This goes for the ground and standing.

I was happy last night I went 4-1 in ranked last night. Had a sweet Kimura from my back which I let him spam transition attempts to gas himself and then BOOM caught him off guard from my back. I was PUMPED!! Also had a beautiful superman punch Knockout. I used it only like 2 times during the match. I had him hurt and as I moved in for the kill he threw a high kick I dodged then closed the distance with the leaping superman punch.....KO!!!

Once you pick your level you can't change it.
I wish you could have custom music, it bothers me to hear certain guys come out with generic music.

Ah well guess ill be starting over then, way too easy on experienced. I fought a guy who was like a 75 ovr and I'm only a 61, dropped him in just over a minute with a weak jab. I've dominated every fight and all have been higher overall than me
