Diaz is retiring? Bye bye I won't miss your attitude, but he was still a great fighter.

Love GSP as a human being but no longer a fan of his as a fighter.

He was a boxer before he did MMA and more then likely will return back to it. He wanted to do both for a while but his UFC and Strikeforce contracts wouldn't allow him to do both at the same time.

So more then likely he will do boxing, since that was always his 1st love.

Why? He stood toe to toe for 13 of the 25 minutes? Won standing, won on the ground. Just beat Diaz hands down.

He didn't look as "sharp" as he normally does. Hopefully this shakes the rust off.

He beat Diaz on the feet as well HOWEVER he clearly wanted that fight on the ground. Im sick and tired of seeing him wrestle his opponents to wins. Fans would boo any other fighter for that. Diaz simply just didnt let his hands go. Had it not been for Diaz stopping some takedowns it woulda been another hug fest.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

Going to be tough for him. He has been embarrassed quite a few times in sparring sessions with lighter weight amateurs.

He will stick with MMA as that is where he can have more success and he is too big of a name.

He will get annihilated if he fights any half decent boxer.

6 straight decisions. 7 of his last 8.

There are times in the fight game when the superior fighter is presented with a challenge he just can't quite crack so he coasts for a points decision instead of putting his queen at an unnecessary risk.

Silva, JBJ, Cain/JDS always try and finish fights to the best of their ability.

GSP has zero interest in doing anything other than being a points decision fighter.

                        No thanks.

Pretty much the way I expected. I am a fan of Hendricks now, he won't beat GSP but I like how he handles things.

Diaz should think about boxing. I know he doesn't like be laid on, and I don't blame him, but that is MMA now.

Exactly. This dude never tries to finish a fight. Its all wrestling his opponent to a win. I understand its part of the sport. And dont be fooled people, GSP was NOT trying to stand and fight, Diaz stopped a few takedowns forcing him to stand. Diaz just wouldn't throw his hands.

                              Seriously?

Did you not watch the Hardy fight, or the koshcheck fight? GSP tried to finish those, he just couldn't. Such a BS stigma associated with GSP. It's ridiculous.
