    Un-****ing-believable.

    Partial Source: PWInsider.com
WWE ordered O2 Arena security to confiscate all signs from fans relating to Zack Ryder at Monday's Monday Night RAW taping at in London, England.

The Raw Superstar has been encouraging fans to bring Ryder related signs to WWE events, such as "Broski of the Week." He often goes on Twitter acknowledging Ryder signs shown on television. He asked for an image of the "Zack Ryder = Ratings" sign that briefly appeared on RAW. That too was confiscated.

Ryder was backstage at Monday night's show, but was not used.
What a joke...how dare someone get over.

Yeah, the only reason for them to do something like that would be because they plan to release him soon.

Good question and it depends. I'm not sure it is automatically bad, as I doubt he'll get any booking power (at least I hope not). But if he is good at writing/devising long, complex, over-arching plots or storylines, it could help (in theory).

But, considering the content of soap operas, we could just get Ted & Maryse are brother & sister, Cena & Orton are half-brothers, and Stephanie having an affair with X-pac, who we all <strike>hoped</strike> thought was dead. Although, maybe we'll finally find out who tried to kill Vince...

You seem to be misattributing what was happening with the WWE up to and mostly including the "Hogan era" (more matches, all the big stuff at PPVs) and with what the Attitude Era really was. All the stuff you claim to hate about what is going on in WWE today comes from the Attitude Era (well, you could certainly make a point that it started before that, but it took off in the 90s).

I guess I'm not sure what point you are trying to make. You claim to want to go back to wrestling, but it was the Attitude Era when they started heavily slanting the focus to the "Male Soap Opera" concept over wrestling.

I would actually say the wrestling from a lot of the younger/newer guys is as good as ever (and would argue that, as a whole, is deeper than in the 90s), it's the writing and "fluff" stuff that has taken the dive. The formula is the same as the Attitude Era though...it's just that aspect is simply watered down and not new anymore.
Again I never said I wanted Attitude Era back, and you are wrong on the facts. The Attitude Era was a era of haze, in which fans wouldn't know whether a wrestler was a good guy or a bad guy (anti-heroes). Did you watch Raw this week? 35 minutes on a heel turn of someone with little to no relevance. Attitude was bad at shoving pointless story lines, but today it's really bad. But again, all I was saying is I want to see more wrestling matches, they don't have to be ten minutes each, but at least an honest effort to give us wrestling.

I hope Jay Lethal gets a shot in the WWE. A charismatic guy that can work would be a huge upgrade to the likes of JTG, DiBiase Jr, and the majority of NXT guys coming in.

Also agree but they need to a find a gimmick for him that's not Macho Man impersonator.

I only use gerweck.net,they have very little dirt and more actual news. I've posted stuff from other sites but those were 2nd hand.

                      Oh boy...

                      http://www.411mania.com/wrestling/ne...he-Company.htm

                      - CM Punk has been offered a new long-term WWE contract, but at this time he has not signed and could be leaving the company when his current contract expire sin a few months. There has been talk about the possibility for some time, but during the European tour, discussion of Punk's exit heated up. As mentioned, Punk has not signed the new offer, citing "burnout with being on the road for years and unhappiness with his position in the company over the last year." A WWE office source had the following to say on the situation…

"When you look at how the company brands it's characters, Punk is never among the top 5-8 names that are promoted or pushed. It's Cena, Orton, Miz, Undertaker, Rey, now Alberto, etc. these days and Punk is sort of floating right under there. He didn't fit into the youth drive a few months back but he's not treated like a top veteran either. He's just there, doing his job and while everyone knows he delivers, he's never really treated like someone who does. He's never dropped the ball but we don't give it to him really, either. He's treated like a guy, but not THE guy. For a driven guy like him who's made wrestling his entire world, it's got to drive him crazy. Now, the excuse will be don't push Punk because he might be leaving, but the reality is the environment and situation is what is probably making him want to leave to begin with. Either it gets fixed or it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, just like it did when Batista walked out."
If this happens, WWE should be burned at the stake.

And all the WWE did for him was make him a three time World champion and one of the biggest names in wrestling.

Jericho was also given a push of beating SCSA and The Rock in the same night. If that's not a major push, IDK what is.
