    Bigger than The Rock returning?

Rock/Cena sells itself. Lots of people are going to buy that anyways because of that. Putting Lesnar/Taker on the card for WM 28, while it would make it a freaking dream card, doesn't really do much for them financially.
Pretty much this. A man could dream though...but thinking rationally, it makes more sense for WWE to hold off on it until 2013 with Rock/Cena basically selling WM on its own. Brock/Taker, Brock/Austin, and Brock/Cena are the only 3 possibilities IMO. I could def see Brock/Cena being at Summerslam or something like that, with Brock/Taker or Brock/Austin being at WM 29.

I agree. The most I could see them doing is having Brock show up and F5 Taker after his Mania win and set up Brock/Taker at WM 29.

Just to, you know, really dream...

            Rock/Cena
            Taker/Lesnar
            Punk/Jericho

A freaking triple main event. I can't think of a time where WWE put on a show with a card that was better than that, though my memory is admittedly fuzzy.

I'd buy that show twice, out of appreciation for them making it happen.

As much as I love Jericho, Austin/Punk would be much better. Hopefully we get that next year.

You think Brock will be any different? You think Brock would return full time, or more than just 1 or 2 matches at this point?

Oh, I'd rather have Austin/Punk too. I just see Punk/Jericho being far more likely.

Full time? No probably not, but I feel he'd be much more willing to do more then 1 match given he's 34 and has no movie career to fall back on like the Rock does.

Well the Rock did come back for Survivor Series too....

Brock probably has saved up a lot of money from his UFC days, and endorsements and such, so it's not exactly like he'd be starving for cash.

But getting back to the original point, the Rock returning was definitely the bigger deal just because one, he's a bigger star than Brock was and is, whether you're talking about just his time in the WWE or their post WWE careers.

Just look at the WM buyrate with Rock not even wrestling, and look at how big WM 28 will be. I doubt that Brock could have that impact if/when he returns. Not saying that to slight Brock, just think you're underselling how much of a draw Rock still is and the fact that WWE bent over backwards to get him to come back, even if it was 'via satellite' most of the time.

Brock isn't going to be full time. He's not doing house shows. That's the biggest reason for him leaving in the first place was the travel. I could see him coming back on the HBK/Taker schedule from a few years ago. Why not? Have him do TV and PPV for a bit, give him time off, repeat. He's said he'd like to do WWE again, so personally I feel like it's a matter of time.

One thing I don't get is why do people assume Taker is retiring this year or even next? I know it's a common assumption, but I've never seen anything from anyone in the know suggesting that. He probably came back a bit too early from injury last year. But by the time Mania rolls around it'll have been a year since he wrestled. I bet he's feeling pretty good. He's not going to go full time, but I just don't believe this is his last year. I think Brock vs. Taker next year is a safe bet at this point. I bet they may even announce it right after mania and build to it like they did for Rock/Cena this year.

Call me crazy, but maybe that could be a reason they decided to include Brock in WWE 12. The parties involved knew he would make a return.

I'd like to see someone comeback that actually comes back and isn't gonna be just part time or "intense" satellite promos.

By that theory, Mick Foley, Batista, Demolition, Trish Stratus, the Road Warriors (wouldn't that be something for them to team with Benoit...), Vader, and Stone Cold are all returning as well. And wait for it... THE MACHO MAN.
