Having Lawler actually win would have been the best way to go. I mean, goh probably would have disappeared years ago then!

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

      - The dark match before last night's WWE NXT TV tapings saw Tensai defeat Jake Carter, who debuted a new robe and new tights.

      - The dark main event after last night's NXT tapings saw Rob Van Dam defeat Aiden English.

      - We noted before that Michelle McCool was at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando this week, working out with some of the developmental Divas. The Undertaker was also there, training in the ring and giving pointers to some of the talents. Both Taker and McCool were also backstage at last night's NXT tapings.

The scheduled Night of Champions bout between Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose for the United States Championship is no longer listed on WWE.com.

WWE also published an article with predictions from the staff for each match, and there was no mention of the match. Ziggler and Ambrose will square off on tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown on Syfy.

      - Ricardo Rodriguez worked under a mask as El Local at last night's NXT tapings. He faced Sami Zayn.

      - Jim Ross was telling fans he had no plans on retiring as recent as his Q&A event in Scotland last week. Ross said he had no intention of retiring and talked about continuing his work in WWE developmental. Ross added that he would never retire and would always be there when needed. Ross also said that the day he would retire is the day they bury him.
Apparently Smackdown is interesting tonight too, based on the match card.

Curious to see what happends with the heyman-Punk story now. Heyman has likely nabbed Ryback so wonder if this will somehow spew into a Lesnar-Ryback feud.

          - As noted, Dolph Ziggler has earned a future United States Title shot against Dean Ambrose after defeating him in a non-title match on last night's RAW.

Ziggler may not get his title shot at next month's Battleground pay-per-view as there is talk of doing a match with The Shield vs. The Rhodes Family at Battleground. The Rhodes team would be made up of Goldust, Cody Rhodes and Dusty Rhodes. WWE using Dusty in the match is still up in the air.

          - The idea for next week's RAW is that the top babyface Superstars who came to Daniel Bryan's aid at the end of last night's show will be punished. Some of the stars who made the save were Kofi Kingston, Rob Van Dam, Darren Young, Titus O'Neil and others.

Rhodes' / Shield could be really interesting, despite Dusty's old age. If Dusty can't wrestle, there is always another guy who uses the Bionic Elbow.

I was hearing WWE may turn them face for an eventual feud with the Shield... Thats the sad part is they hyped them and got them up to a great response but what to do with them now? another thing is would the shield serve a better response as faces?

RVD will be written out of current wwe stories in October. He has a clause to work 90 days then take time off

Ziggler and RVD were out there. PTP and Usos have also had matches with the Shield.

Who is this Scotty Goldman you speak of? I'm talking about Colt "Boom Boom" Cabana.

As for Ziggler, he's not even a jobber to the stars, just a mid-card jobber at this point in time and RVD is decent, but he hasn't been there long and really isn't a top tier babyface guy, like a Cena/Sheamus is.

You have only posted images of Goldman. None of Cabana. Yes, for the sarcastic ones, I know they are one in the same...

Or are the "Scotty" on the bandana and "Goldman" on the attire catch phrases?

My picture was of Cabana in his "Boom Boom'" gear, also seen on his AOW website, the top picture. I really doubt he want to have Goldman as his main picture.

                          - Ricardo Rodriguez is currently scheduled to be with Rob Van Dam until RVD takes time off in October. After that, Ricardo may be put with Rey Mysterio as his personal ring announcer.

                          - As noted, WWE is looking to hire additional trainers for the Performance Center after the signing of Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore. Apparently former WWE Tag Team Champion Rob Conway was offered a job but turned them down because he didn't want to relocate.

                          - Stipulations are expected to be added to

                          at WWE's Battleground pay-per-view.

                          There's talk of
                          Spoiler
being an Iron Man match. That would allow WWE to do another indecisive finish, leading to Hell In a Cell where there could be a definitive winner once and for all.

                          - CM Punk is scheduled to return to WWE RAW on next Monday's show from Chicago. The beatdown at Night of Champions only got him one week off to rest and heal up.

                          - As noted, Michelle McCool and The Undertaker were working out at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando last week. One source noted that McCool looked amazing, better than when she was wrestling for WWE.

A year ago she was in serious talks about coming back but the feeling is that now would be a good time to return because she could make it back in time to set up a run leading to a WrestleMania XXX payoff.

                                - Some people within WWE believe that Jim Ross will be back working for them in time for WrestleMania XXX. Some also think he will still be used for interviews on DVD's and projects like that.

One source noted that JR's situation with WWE hadn't been good since WrestleMania and it was just a matter of time until something happened that would be the catalyst towards WWE pulling the trigger, and the WWE 2K14 panel was just that. Triple H, who was JR's boss while working with developmental, had known JR's days were numbered as far as Vince McMahon was concerned, so Triple H used to help JR out as much as possible before the call was made.

It was noted that there's always been an issue with Ross and Vince because JR speaks his mind to Vince when he thinks a direction is wrong. JR has tried to be political about it and not confrontational but Vince is used to people not questioning him.

                                - WWE has shown interest in Mexican star Volador Jr. The CMLL promotion is apparently aware of their interest.

                                - It's being reported in Japan that Tensai was making $100,000 per year with New Japan Pro Wrestling and to lure him away, WWE offered $400,000. It's also being reported that WWE is trying to sign NJPW stars Karl Anderson and Prince Devitt.

                                - Kharma recently appeared on the Future Endeavors podcast and talked about a WWE return.

She said she is ready to make a WWE return and believes "all parties" are in "gorilla", meaning a return to WWE could be happening soon. Kharma encouraged fans to keep bringing Kharma fan signs and writing to WWE because unlike TNA, WWE listens to their fans.

Regarding the new, slimmer look that she recently debuted, Kharma said she's working on re-inventing herself. She's looking to drop a bit more weight and have more definition in her physique. She has been using DDP Yoga too.

                                - No word yet on who it is but WWE reportedly has a winner in mind already for the 2014 Royal Rumble.

                                - As noted, Rey Mysterio is looking to be back in action for WWE's tour of Mexico in mid-October. Rey has been having stem cell treatments done for his knees and they aren't completed yet. When Rey appeared for WWE over the weekend in Hidalgo, he was still using a crutch.
