Problem is that it should have happened earlier to give them enough time to build a storyline for some team to dethrone them.
I cant put Road Dogg and Billy Gunn winning in 3 weeks worth of work at the same level of Team Hell No and Shield winning the belts. They arent equal.

I had a whole rant on the AARP Outlaws written but the 12 year old in me still likes them. They just dont need to be champs. If the Medicare Outlaws are champs all the way till Wrestlmania, then lol.

I was speaking in the sense of the team winning, but not needing the belts. Hell No used them initially to cement the team, but eventually they just worked together well enough...well enough that any feud they were in was just one-sided victories.

Shield only needed them to initially establish dominance, but all three members quickly overshadowed the belts they had (or have. US Title still a thing?). Losing to Rhodes and Goldust was good and fit the story, but constantly losing to the Shield didn't do the Usos any favors.

That's why I say the tag division isn't completely destroyed by having the Outlaws win the belts. It's random, and they're not my first (or second, third, etc...) choice, but the other teams (minus PTP and Tons of Funk) are all still there doing the same stuff as when the Outlaws weren't champs. WWE only seems to really make the champions look strong at any given time though, which is annoying.

One of Punk's final interviews, which he did 2 days before the Rumble and 3 days before he walked out. Hits on a lot of things that people here have griped out for a while, including creative and may have dropped some hints before he left:

There's word going around that John Cena was injured and pulled from house shows. It's about to get real, guys.

I'm not happy he's hurt because I like the guy, but it's kinda fun watching WWE melt down within a week.

He's the company man he'll wrestle in a cast with one arm if he must as he signed his life to Vince McMahon in some weird voodoo contract.

He probably tore both ACLs, so he'll be back around late March at the latest.

It will probably lead to him being abducted by the Wyatt's and then turning up three weeks later after no explanation or reasoning.

Well ****, if it's serious (eye injury so I'm not sure), then maybe Vince will really push hard to re-sign Punk. Maybe this helps out Bryan a little too.

I think it's safe to say a lot of us thought that during the fall.

Yeah, who am I kidding. WWE will stick to the plan and just through Sheamus at Wyatt or something.
