I could see this as there's probably a ton of people out there who haven't seen Sting wrestle since the last Monday Nitro while Batista was only gone for 2 or 3 years.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Maybe it has to do with him using the name Sting in TNA? I mean, Sting hasn't be in a WWE product (I'm counting WCW here) in like 13 years, so kids might only know him from TNA I guess. It's odd, but it's not really a big deal.NFL: Houston Texans / Carolina Panthers

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
They can't copyright the name Sting, because he won't let them. Vince wants to make money off of him, and he can't make as much if it's not copyrighted.
The loop hole? Use something stupid as **** so you can make money off of it.--

In related news, it's being said that Sting's arrival in WWE is not being regarded by officials on the same priority level as the signing of guys like Batista, Brock Lesnar, Hulk Hogan or The Rock.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
We're kidding ourselves if we think Vince wouldn't keep selling Punk merchandise.
He also brought back a crappy business man like Ultimate Warrior who held Vince up. Punk walking out with no notice isn't enough for Vince to NOT make money off of the merchandise he already owns.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
So regarding the CM punk situation, I kind of hope its a work and he comes back and royally screws Daniel Bryan over in some way and turns mega heel again. He doesn't necessarily have to align with HHH, but I miss the heel CM Punk.Comment

- Kevin Nash tweeted the following about Batista, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan:
"Daves a really good guy.if the office says you get the push you take it business 101.He looks the part his ring timing will improve"
"Love Punk and da Yes man. Can't we hope storyline puts them where you want them? A reason to watch?"
- Dean Ambrose was recently spoke with Reyan Ali of The Classical. Here are some highlights from the interview:
SpoilerWWE pitching The Shield: It wasn't ever pitched to us. It was very out of nowhere. It was a secret kind of idea. I have an idea—I'll save that for another time—[of] what the original, original idea was. It's just been ever-evolving. One day, it was just like, 'All right, you three are going to wear black turtlenecks and run in and beat up Ryback,' and we're just like, 'Uh, okay.' At the time, you're like, 'I don't even care.' I [had been] in developmental for over a year at that point and was just ready to pull my eyes out, so [with] any tiny, little bit of opening they'll give me, I was like, 'Yup, let's do it.' I'll kick in that door if you crack it open, and I think we all felt that way. But doing Survivor Series and interfering in a WWE Championship match on one of the bigger pay-per-views that the company does, that's like, 'Holy crap.' If you know what the deal is or not, you can't ask for a better spotlight than [that].
Who he'd like to work with: Randy [Orton] is a guy. I'm on the same side of the fence as Randy right now, but Randy's a guy that I love watching work. He's a guy [where] I'll always stop and watch his matches.
Christian is just so unbelievably good. I mean, I always knew Christian was really good. Working with Christian, he's been here for so long and has so much experience, you realize his brain is a super-evolved version of my brain [with] the way he sees matches play out, the way he comes up with things, especially in tag matches and stuff like that. Christian's a guy who I've only had a small sampling of working with. Christian's a guy I want to spend a lot more time in the ring with.
It's awesome working with RVD, too. I'm a big ECW fan, so I got to work with him on a loop in California, and he's cool. He's friggin' RVD. He's got all the RVD spots and he's ageless and stuff. There's just countless guys that you want to work with for one reason or the other. I'm looking forward to diving headfirst into all of them.
- Regarding the reaction at the Royal Rumble, Randy Orton reportedly was irate backstage after the crowd hijacked his match with John Cena.
- As noted, last week's RAW was re-written because of the CM Punk situation. In order to keep fans from hijacking the show for Daniel Bryan like they did at the Royal Rumble the night before, WWE had Bryan cut an in-ring promo which he originally wasn't scheduled to do.
- The split between Cody Rhodes and Goldust may come at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view where a tag team title match is expected. There are plans for Cody vs. Goldust at WrestleMania XXX this year. Goldust was originally signed as a talent through WrestleMania XXX but his deal has been extended through SummerSlam. Once that deal expires, it's expected he will become an agent backstage.
- Another one of CM Punk's issues with WWE is that he feels like he hasn't been fairly compensated for events in the past and that so far, nobody in the company has told him or anyone else how they will be compensated for this year's WrestleMania and other pay-per-views with the Network launching.
It's also said that Punk has been upset that no matter what happens, he will never be pushed as the John Cena-caliber face of the company. Punk at one point pushed hard to go heel again despite the fact that he was super over as a babyface because he realized that as a babyface, he'll always be number two behind Cena. His idea was to turn heel so at least he would be number one as a heel.
It's worth noting that there are a small number of people within WWE who believe the whole situation is a work but the vast majority do not. Those who believe it's legit are very much split on things. Half of the people seem to think that Punk stood up for himself and did the right thing and should be applauded. The other half feel he's being a baby about everything and shouldn't have walked out, especially without giving WWE time to write him out of the storylines. It's said to be a very polarizing issue within the company.
- The latest on Sting is that he still has not signed but the general feeling is that it's a foregone conclusion that he's coming in. While he's not expected to be rushed into a match at WrestleMania XXX, word is that the working idea right now is for Sting to possibly be the new RAW General Manager.
- With the drama that has unfolded within WWE in the past week, WWE creative is now looking at several different options for WrestleMania XXX. The first is a Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H match with possibly the stipulation that Bryan gets a WWE World Heavyweight Title shot at Extreme Rules in Seattle. If Bryan ends up working Triple H at WrestleMania, they may put Sheamus in a match with Kane. John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt and Batista vs. Randy Orton would still happen.
Another option is John Cena vs. Triple H, Sheamus vs. Bray Wyatt and Orton vs. Batista vs. Bryan in a three-way for the belt. The other option they are looking at is Sheamus vs. Triple H, Cena vs. Wyatt and Bryan vs. Orton vs. Batista in a three-way.

Battleground has been moved to July. MITB is 6/29 and Payback is 6/1. HIAC remains in October, for some reason.
I thought we might have Bash at the Beach and Halloween Havoc instead.Comment
