Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
It kills me everytime. Funniest gif I've ever seen. Even with no context, it's still hilarious.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
If Bryan loses to HHH it will prove that WWE has no clue about storytelling this was MADE to be the main event of Wrestlemania with Bryan winning.
I don't even dislike HHH but anything less than a Bryan win and I wouldn't blame him if he quits there and then.

Guys creating their own popularity is what launched the attitude era and won the Monday night War.
Now its a name generator, gimmick generator, and memorize this promo please. And if WE like the finished product you will be pushed.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
He put on some decent matches but he was just so so terrible and boring on the mic. I don't really feel bad they gave him ample opportunity to run with the ball in the form of championships and feuded with every top guy and came out flat every time.
I don't blame creative either because at some point if your character isn't working you need to go out on a limb and try something else. Cut a promo as yourself during a house show or something. ALL of the great characters in professional wrestling have had a large part of the wrestlers actual personality inside it. Creative can get you going but it's their job to break free and run after awhile. Del Rio never did that and I won't miss him."Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."Comment

Guys have almost no personality aside from their physical appearance. Just look at Sheamus, Del Rio, Ryback, and so on. That's not what got people to like Austin, Rock, HBK, etc. I just think its a shame that so many guys aren't given a real chance to sink or swim when it comes to actually connecting with the audience.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
In my opinion, that is the main reason that the product has gotten so stale. Very few are allowed to deviate from the script. And that's if they actually get mic time. It's really hard to tell a complete story just by bookings.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
If you ever listen to the creators/actors/writers reviewing of episodes on DVDs/Blu-Rays, you hear about actors ad-libbing things (at least the good ones) into the shows and those are usually the most funniest/memorable things about the episode. I just don't get why WWE wants to be this mass controller of everything rather than let guys go create their character. It would help guys get better on the mic and create characters that have been missing for 10 years.
Look at the Godfather. He's a memorable character, but he wasn't world champion. The main event players shouldn't be the only one with gimmicks, and gimmicks that are allowed to blossom into something of it's own.NFL: Houston Texans / Carolina Panthers

If ADR leaves, who will Rey wrestle on 78 consecutive shows every time he comes back from an injury?Comment

Also, if HHH beats Bryan at Mania, I feel bad for anyone who has to go on after that. Except Batista.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
That's not to say that WWE wouldn't then script when they call people up, but apparently Bray Wyatt does his own stuff. I'd be surprised if anyone is scripting the weird stuff Big E does. Might be slowly changing away from the overly scripted stuff.Comment
