Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

      - F4Wonline.com confirms previous reports that Paul Bearer is considered a lock for the WWE Hall of Fame this year. PWInsider reports that Scott Hall and Cyndi Lauper's names have been discussed in recent weeks. Also, word is that Stephanie McMahon is trying to lock in a big name for this year's ceremony.

      - Regarding WWE Extreme Rules being held at the Key Arena in Seattle, arena officials responded to a comment on Facebook and said they do not have Extreme Rules or any WWE show booked for May 4th.

      - For those wondering about Bray Wyatt's promos, word from within WWE is that he writes all promos by himself and then submits them to WWE creative for approval or edits.

      - Word within WWE is that nobody has heard back from CM Punk after they've reached out to him via phone calls and text messages. The belief is that Punk is keeping to himself, except for people in his inner circle, and that circle isn't going to talk about the situation.

      - We noted on Sunday that there were major WrestleMania XXX creative meetings held this past week and the only thing now considered a lock is Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena. There has been a lot of back and forth discussion over Brock Lesnar's WrestleMania XXX role. The original plan was for Lesnar to face The Undertaker, as noted. That may or may not be the plan still but there could be something to Batista vs. Lesnar being teased on RAW last week.

Well, that KeyArena thing is really odd.

It does make sense with the Wyatt's promos that he writes them on his own, especially since his character he basically created by himself.

Also, what big name could Stephanie get, all I could think is Macho Man, but I'll refrain from making the obvious joke that's right there. That or Owen Hart.

I would rather watch Lesnar vs. Taker, because it would be different style of match than Taker's had. Lesnar is relatively young compared to Taker, and his youth and strength vs. wiley Undertaker story would write itself. Batista vs. Lesnar would just be meh. I like hoss fights, but this would have meh written all over it.

Even though its wrestlemania, I cant see myself paying 60-70 dollars for this PPV if batista vs Orton is the main event. That makes me sick. That should be the opening match of the night!! WWE Network makes me easier to say yes to the PPV but im not gonna lie, something big has to happend soon to make me wanna spend 10 dollars and 4 hours of my life on this PPV.

Odd about Extreme Rules and Seattle.

I hope we get news that WWE officials moved the venue in fear of the crowd. That would be something.

You know what would be instant heel heat for Daniel Bryan? If at the next event in Seattle he is introduced as "having recently relocated to Oklahoma City" and then cuts a promo on how winners move to OKC and the only way he way ever going to win the WWE World Heavyweigh Title was to move to OKC and be with winners.

That would only make sense if the Seahawks lost last night. Since, you know, Seattle is now home to the most recent sports champion.

I agree. Not that it would've been done anyway, but any chance that it might work, or make any sense at all, was ruined by the Seahawks winning. I think the Thunder would've had to win a NBA title too for it to have made any sense.

If Extreme Rules was here, I'd go, but I've been to enough events here to know that our WWE crowds suck.

But even then, not sure if he could hang with the likes of Chris Weidman, Anderson Silva, or Vitor Belfort. He'd need to spend a year training with the Gracies and dieting with Mike Dolce. Then maybe in 2015 he'd be ready, if he's not too old.

Just because Punk has trained some BJJ, that doesn't mean he's ready for MMA. He's going to be 36 years old. I don't see how he could train for 2-3 years and then step in near-40 and compete against guys that have been training MMA for a lot longer than he has. Punk is no Brock Lesnar in terms of pedigree and freakish athleticism.

He would make for a good commentator, though.

Highly doubtful CM Punk is really a Heavyweight.

                                If CM Punk is 218lbs, I'm 500lbs.
