Go back a little further. The Wrestlemania XX rumors on that site have Sting mentioned as being in talks with WWE.

I think Sting has always been in talks with them. I was watching something that other day from I think 2012 where someone asked him something like, were you ever close to signing with the WWE and he said that he was very, very close to signing last year in 2011. It sounded like he was ready to sign his name and than decided against it.

Main Event taping, Triple
H revealed that for the first time ever, the WWE
Hall of Fame will be broadcast in its entirety on the WWE Network.


The ceremony will air the night before WrestleMania on Saturday, April 5, at
the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

So, I don't know why but this morning was the first time I even thought about this. Despite Jack Swagger being pretty lackluster, Antonio Cesaro seems to be a pretty decent option for the WWE and he is getting a push with EC coming up. Hulk Hogan is coming back reportedly night after elimination chamber... Think the Hulkster is involved with "The Real Americans"? It would have him come full circle from his NWO days, thru TNA and back to his roots of being "The Real American." IDK where that story line would go, but maybe help Cesaro get a little more over than he already is? Just Spitballing.

-According to reports from the WWE SmackDown television taping in Ontario, California on Tuesday night, WWE has dropped Antonio Cesaro's first name. Apparently from this point forward, he will be referred to as simply, "Cesaro."

To reflect the name-change, Cesaro has changed his Twitter handle to say "Cesaro" only.

I read about this yesterday. I don't like this. Yes, guys like Batista and Lashley did it and it worked.

But Christopher Daniels did it in TNA and it was stupid. It reminds me of when Val Venis started going by the Big Valbowski.
