Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Crazy business is wrestling
On the Punk issue from a few days ago, it's a tough one because he did have a couple of injuries in the last year which kind of stopped his momentum.
For example they hinted at Punk vs Daniel Bryan before he had to take his time off. I reckon that would have been a great feud - two no-nonsense wrestlers hopefully just having great matches.
To some extent Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus are in the same boat as Punk. They are prominent, but not really at the forefront of people's minds. All of these guys have won the World Title or WWE Title, but yet either their pushes have stalled, or they've been moved aside to make way for some other feuds.
Punk's feud with Orton was decent enough, but even that took a back seat, evidenced by their match at 'Mania getting cut short.
I think Punk should re-sign, but I hope they use him well if he does.Supporting Leeds United, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Lions and the Colorado Avalanche!

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Phil Hartman was gold.
"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I'm just a caveman. I fell on some ice and later got thawed out by some of your scientists. Your world frightens and confuses me! Sometimes the honking horns of your traffic make me want to get out of my BMW.. and run off into the hills, or wherever.. Sometimes when I get a message on my fax machine, I wonder: "Did little demons get inside and type it?" I don't know! My primitive mind can't grasp these concepts. But there is one thing I do know - when a man like my client slips and falls on a sidewalk in front of a public library, then he is entitled to no less than two million in compensatory damages, and two million in punitive damages. Thank you."Comment

There's a rumor that since Batista's mma deal fell through with ufc buying strikeforce, the wwe offered him a deal and he'll be returning soon. With Jericho being done with dwts, he should be back soon as well. I'd imagine they'd both be on smackdown with that brands lack of top heels.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
I like Jericho too, and would love to see him get one last run as face. But right now WWE is short on heels. All he has to do is call the fans a bunch of parasites and hypocrites and they'll be booing him in no time.
I really do think he'll feud w/ Orton though, since Orton is the one that 'punted' him out of action.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
As we previously reported, WWE Smackdown lead writer Michael Hayes will accompany Tyson Kidd to ring side for his match against Trent Baretta on tonight's edition of Superstars.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE has seriously considered reviving the on-air manager gimmick for certain heel wrestlers who creative feel cannot speak very well and lack mic skills. The manager concept has helped many talents get over in the past, and Michael Hayes reportedly been brought in to help Tyson Kidd get over as a credible heel.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football
