Christian must be really messed up if Santino is in the match.

In a six-man PPV match for the title, a comedy act has no business in there, imo, and that's all Santino is. A comedy act.
McIntyre doesn't make any more sense than Santino. All Teddy goes on about his how disappointed he is in Drew. Why would he suddenly give him a "shot" at the title, and I use shot loosely because no one but Big Show or Bryan will win now.

Santino makes perfect sense actually. Otunga and Big Johnny were talking about possibly taking over Smackdown. Maybe Otunga claims Teddy is incompetent for allowing Santino into the title match (over Otunga of course) and uses it as a way to get him out the job. I know it was a battle royal and "random" but go with it.

I know it doesn't make sense but why not Sheamus take Randy Ortons spot. Bad enough Khali is in the match.

Because you can't have him lose a big PPV match (even if its 6 man) right after winning the RR.

Having him win throws off the whole waiting to choose which title, and then invalidated his option to choose.

              1. He was in it last year and got one of the biggest pops of the night.
              2. He was in the battle royal so DID get a chance.

A year is a longgggg time ago for McIntyre.

NXT guys were in the battle royal as well... but hey, if you want to put McIntyre on the same level as them, I'm all for it!

And while McIntyre is on a losing streak, I think the perception is that he has a ton of potential and could break through at any time (storyline-wise).

Also Sheamus said he's waiting until after the PPV to pick which title he wants, so giving him a chance to win the title at the PPV he's waiting for.

Hell, why not throw Foley in the match if the roster is really so thin that you've got Khali and Santino there now? A 3 time WWE champ trying one last time to main event Wrestlemania is much more interesting and believable as possibly winning it than either of those 2 are.

Yeah, Foley'd be great. Or even Booker T would be better than those two.

Speaking of Booker, where did all the people go talking about how great Rhodes is for the IC belt. Has he done anything with it since that feud (that we all knew how it would end) with Booker T? Not to mention that was months ago and now he is in a match he will be guaranteed to lose. I think my point stands; the only good thing out of this reign so far is replacing the belt unless they have something big planned coming out of EC with him... I smell a Santino/Khali feud vs. Cody going into Wrestlemania.

You're not going to like this answer, but the IC belt takes a major back seat to writers headed into Wrestlemania these days. I wouldn't be surprised if it defended in a multiple person match in order to reward some workers with a pay day.

But it's been kicked out of the car here it seems. At least last year, Kofi and Bryan, who were IC and US champions weren't involved in the championship chamber matches. Then again, they (the titles) didn't show up at Wrestlemania either. I guess the IC title is at least seen on TV. Swagger is having matches on Superstars quite a bit now from what I've heard.

That probably won't happen if the MITB match goes back to WM this year. If it does, it's highly likely Rhodes will be in it, and he'll be one of the favorites to win it. Although I don't think that's been confirmed, and since they moved TLC to July, it makes just as much since for the match to be part of that instead.
