I'm sure some of you guys have played this before but for those haven't I'll explain. I'll ask a what if question and somebody answers and then asks a what if question of their own. It continues down like that with you answering the question of the poster above and stating your own. I wanted to put this in the wrestling forum to apply it to WWE, TNA, etc.

Great idea.

If Sting had gone to the WWE? We'd probably see a better Invasion angle in the summer of 2001. I say that because if Vince spent the money on Sting, he would have been smart enough to bring in other top WCW names for the same price or more. Such top names like Goldberg, Nash, Steiner, Hulk could have made that angle....simply amazing. We'd probably have a Sting DVD released by now as well.


What if Eric Bischoff was able to snag up Shawn Michaels or Bret Hart or another big WWF star to complete the debut of the nWo at the 1996 Bash at the Beach?

It was rumoured that Bischoff was frantically trying to get a big name from the WWF to jump ship to join Hall and Nash. Michaels and Hart were the frontrunners. This was around the time that WWF was not doing so great financially, and were starting to get their butts handed to them.

Good question.

I think that if either one of them jumped, it would have changed everything. They would join two top guys in one of the greatest angles in wrestling. Especially if HBK went because they could push the Klique thing. Either one of them jumping is saying to the WWF and the locker room that they would rather be a part of the competition's huge angle and make more money, and many of them did.

if wwe bought tna then LOTS of people would not like wrestling anymore,SOME tna stars would go to wwe,others retire and others going to roh.if wwe bought tna then there would really be no more competition for them

TNA would still need more TV time to showcase their whole roster, but signing Jericho may speed up the 2 HR timeslot debut.

What if ECW got a new TV deal in 2001? But the WWF still ended up buying WCW that year?

ECW would either still be in the position that it is today, or be #1 with 2 shows - one on HBO and another on USA.

Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels probably would have had a huge explosion on machismo at some point, but most of the Hart Foundation would have stayed in WWE, and Bret might still be wrestling, never being kicked in the head by Goldberg.

He'd still be the most overrated worker in the business. ( I never liked Goldberg btw, he was all entrance no in-ring. Like a less entertaining Warrior)

Probably would have been the hardest I marked since Jericho "won" the title from HHH on Raw many years ago...

What if Vince Russo never left the WWF?

My guess is we probably wouldn't be seeing long title reigns like we're seeing nowadays, and ALOT of *insert object* on a pole matches lol
