Problem is I don't think AW is going to bring the WWE much value overall probably why they just went ahead with releasing him

Or maybe both, the thing that annoys me is that he wasn't fired right after like Daniel Bryan. I find that to be messed up, thinking that your job is safe only to be fired 2 weeks later. The marks on Twitter sure are getting annoying though.

You never know, if this thing gains traction - a guy losing his job potentially to look out for the owner's wife's election - then it could actually get more heat then if they just kept him around.

It seems like Vince has become more lenient with hiring people who talk trash about the company (ex. Gunn and Road Dogg)

                  LOL

Anyway, good riddance. Yes, it sucks that a manager is fired especially when O'Neil and Black Cena will struggle without him. Yet, making a joke about an alleged case of rape isn't cool in particular on a family-friendly show. He should have never, ever used that offensive joke.

But it's okay for the CEO to make a racial slur at someone, who isn't even that race.

But it's okay to have women wrestling basically half-freakin' naked in front of children. Yeah, nothing screams 'family product' than watching two women in next to nothing roll around and scream.

                    Whatever.

Eh, in Vince's defense the company has gone way from having the Divas mainly for tna aspect and turned in to a actual competitive division.

The Vince thing was what...5 years ago? And obviously meant as a joke, I don't even think a huge uproar was made about it at the time it happened, and we all know how Jackson and Sharpton jump on those things (hope that doesn't go against TOS, just sayin)

And like jvalverde said, the Divas division has cleaned up, hell you will see women at public beaches wearing worse stuff than what the Divas wear (and most of the women on the beaches aren't half as in shape as the Divas.)

Who used a racial slur and towards whom?

Anyway, the WWE is trying to bring in the female and kid demographic. Having people make light of rape, even if implied and 8 years ago, isn't going to help endure them to the current product. I know plenty of people around here make rape jokes, especially during the Eve/John Cena/Kane/Zack Ryder storyline, but that is a very serious issue in our country. A majority of incidents aren't reported do to embrassment and shame felt by the victim.

Hell Sharpton has made a career out of playing the race card and creating racial tension for as long as I can remember. I think there's a picture of him in the dictionary next to the word scumbag.

Still kinda hypocritical of Vince in a way, it's not like on his rise to making the WWF/E what it is today he hasn't done quite a number of shady things.

It still sucks though. AW is an awesome talker and could have been very valuable getting some young heels over.
