Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

I don't update my Universe in here very much -- although I should since I forget some of what's happening at times lol -- but I just had an awesome moment.

I was in the first RAW after the Fatal 4 Way PPV and didn't have anything brewing for my main event, so I threw together a Cena/Jericho match (both faces) with intentions of having Jericho chair shot Cena and turn heel late into the match.

Those plans got turned upside down though when during Cena's entrance, Kane (current day version) attacked him to make his first appearance in my Universe. Jericho took advantage and won clean, but as he was leaving the ring post-match, Sheamus' theme hit and he appeared at the top of the stage (he had been out for the past few months with what the game called a "serious" injury), only to run down to ringside, slam Jericho into the ring post and throw him into the steel steps to end the show.

Sometime this game just makes magic. But then other times it tries to push Michael McGillicutty to main event status by beating down both Triple H and Stone Cold at the same time.

GM Note: I'm using both Smackdown and Impact to have this Pay Per View:

      <O</O
X-Division Title Match: Austin Aires (Champ) vs. D'Angelo Dinero. Aires retains via rear underhook bridge suplex.

      <O</O
Knockouts Title Match: Layla (Champ) vs. Michelle McCool. Ms. McCool landed the Faith Breaker. New TNA Knockouts Champion! (Makes up for her "Loser Leaves WWE" loss to Layla, now, doesn't it..)

      <O</O
Unified Tag Team Title Match: Power Trip 0 Crimson & Matt Morgan (Champions) vs. Wild Card - Samoa Joe & Mason Ryan. Cutscene: nWo's Mr. Perfect & Big Poppa Pump attack the champions before the match. While Morgan landed a Hellavator brainbuster, it wasn't enough to overcome the initial beating. Joe landed one of his famous modified suplexes for the surprise win. New Unified Tag Team Champions, Wild Card!!

      <O</O
#1 Contender's X-Division Match: Alex Shelley vs. Tyson Kidd. Despite interference from Natalya, the Sliced Bread and Camel Clutch were enough to get the shot at Aires.

      <O</O
Monster’s Ball – Backstage Brawl: Abyss vs. The Joker. Both came dress for the occasion, as Abyss went full Asylum outfit, while Joker sported Nurse -- skirt and all. These matches go way too short. Can anyone explain why? They'd also be so much cooler with other workers (be it, labor, divas or superstars) trying to avoid the madness backstage. Joker won by smashing Abyss through a car windshield, though.

      <O</O
6-Man “Legends” Tag: Hulk Hogan, Sting, & Goldberg vs. Kurt Angle, Ric Flair and Jeff Jarrett. If you're currently watching TNA, you know the boyd are over in the UK. This match isn't that far off from what they're doing over there. Despite domination from Team Hogan, JJ landed the Stroke and both Sting & Berg REFUSED to prevent the pinfall! The, uh!

      <O</O
TNA Championship – Ladder Match: Jeff Hardy (Champion) vs. Bobby Roode (#1 Contender) vs. James Storm (Royal Rumble winner). OMGGGGG Best Match Ever! It's an absolute sin I didn't youtube this video for y'all. Highlights: There were thousands. I think Hard broke Mankind's record for most death-defying bumps in one match. This was a seriously amazing Ladder match that features plenty of Last Call Superkicks from Storm, Hardy running over the top rope on a ladder to plancha on both Bobby and James outside. Roode Suplexing Storm off the top of the ladder. Hardy nailing the Swanton on Roode from the ladder top. Close-calls. Just amazing. Admittingly, it is majorly difficult to get to that top and hold onto that strap without the other boys messing with ya. However, I landed the Twist of Fight at the perfect time on roode while avoiding Storm's finisher into another neckbreaker. Winner and STILL TNA Heavyweight Champion: JEFFFFFFFF.... HARDYYYYYY!!!!!

      Now onto Wrestlemania!!!!!!!

GM Note: B/c I went with A.A.O. before Mania, I'm now able to have a full Mania card with primarily WWE superstars. It's a shame we can't set up more than 6 matches for Mania, but that just how it go! Talk to you guys tomorrow night after the patch.

And.. hope you are all enjoying Royal Rumble tonight!
Sounds like a helluva show. You, by any chance have an clue what keywords you searched in CC for an AAO ring? Need it!

          • The Iron Senator was handed his first loss since winning the United States Championship belt. Will he get his revenge on former teammate Zack Ryder tonight on RAW?
          • Big Show and Alex Riley have been having some issues, but can they bring things together for another victory over Del Rio and Swagger?
          • Its rumored Stone Cold will be in the crowd to watch Triple H take on Rey Mysterio in his return to RAW. Will anything come of it?
          Monday Night Raw

Del Rio/Swagger vs Riley: Who didn't see this coming? Big Show decided not to show up, leaving Riley for a butt kicking. It didn't take long before Del Rio finished him off, making him tap.

Rating: **, Del Rio/Swagger win by tap submission

Demolition v Santino/Kozlov (c): Santino makes a great return after being out last week, giving the old Cobra attack. Kozlov ran over to Smash and gave him boot to the face knocking him out and leaving Santino wide open to pin Ax.

Rating: **, Santino/Kozlov win by pinfall.

Zack Ryder v Iron Senator (c): This match was a lot of fun. The match went back and forth until Ryder was about to land a Zack Attack when the Iron Senator reversed it and put him into a Shock Drop. But wait, McGillicutty is back! He keeps the ref away from making a pin, but as he's yelling into the ring at The Iron Senator, Santinto hops out from the crowd and gives him the Santino DDT. The Iron Senator doesn't waste this second opportunity and give Zack Ryder one last Shock Drop. 1..2...3!

Rating: ***, Iron Senator wins by pinfall.

Triple H (c) v Rey Mysterio: Rey Mysterio is making his return to the WWE, and there is a ton of hype surrounding the match. Mysterio kicked off fast against the WWE Champion Triple H, but a reversed 619 led to a Pedigree that just about put Mysterio's lights out. 1...2.. Wait! Stone Cold is here to interrupt the match! Myserio takes advantage and converts on the 619 at last. But it wasn't enough to pin The Game, as he kicked out and gave Mysterio one more furious Pedigree. 1...2...3.. See ya at Extreme Rules, Stone Cold.

Rating: ****, Triple H wins by pinfall.

          Show Summary:

It started off a little slow, but the 3rd match and Main Event sparked Raw to a solid showing before Extreme Rules. Can't wait to see how things play out!

          Rating: ***

[QUOTE=LOOSECANNON;2043320407]RAW was a classic tonight. RR was entertaining, despite not being great--but the fed def made up for it with Jericho, Taker, RKO, HHH, etc.!!! I'm psyched for E.C. as well. Great main event announced.

Freaking USA went over on the limit for RAW lastnight, so i was pissed and wanted to hear is Jonny got got!..but come to find out UT made his return!..youtube 30min later and watched!..not as cool as regular show times, but heah it is great to have the deadman back on TV!

I'm on the fence right now too...I'm going to get all the DLC but not sure if I should get the patch. Maybe this will be the last of the patches for WWE12...

People are saying that The kings commentary is non-existent now. Is that a game killer IDK.
Let me know what your doing..I think my game plays just fine!..just need my DLC-right now!

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

Forgot to do a write up on the first wCw Nitro, but I can say - it was great.

I've downloaded Kurt Angle, and added him to the WWE roster, and Hollywood Hogan, and added him to the wCw roster, forming the NWO.

Anyway, here's Week 2 since going to the WWE/WCW format.

                    RAW is WAR

Match 1 - Stone Cold vs Kane vs The Rock - This match never got started. The Rock assaulted Austin on the entrance ramp. After Austin FINALLY made his way down to ring side, The Undertaker came from under the ring, and jumped Austin. The Rock then pursued Austin, and beat him on the outside, throwing him through into the steel steps. When Austin & Rock finally got in the ring, Austin was far too injured to do much. The Rock hit him with a spine buster, then hit Kane with a Rock Bottom to pick up the victory. After the match, Kane & The Undertaker attacked The Rock. Curious about where this storyline is going...

                    Match 2 - Beth Phoenix vs Kelly Kelly - I simmed this match..no interest..haha

Match 3 - Triple H vs CM Punk - now, this is a match worth watching. It was back & forth for at least 10 minutes. Triple H had the momentum on his side, and then...The Rock came out and distracted him. By the time Triple H refocused on Punk, it was too late...Punk caught him with the GTS, and picked up the win. The Rock had a busy night..haha

Match 4 - Sheamus vs Brock Lesnar - this was a very intriguing match up. (probably not main event worthy, over the first match & the third match, but an intriguing match, nevertheless). However, right before the match started, Kurt Angle attacked Brock Lesnar by throwing him into the ring steps. One Brock got in the ring, Sheamus went on the offensive, but Lesnar soon battled back. Unfortunately, the beating at the hands of Angle took too large a toll on Lesnar, and Sheamus beat him. After the match, Lesnar gave Sheamus a low blow.

Not much to talk about from Thursday's Superstars

However, Brodus Clay did debut against Jack Swagger. This was a solid match, even though Clay was in almost complete control throughout. Swagger kicked out of several high impact moves by the Funkasaurus, but in the end, Clay was too much for Swagger, and he picked up his first WWE victory. After the match, Swagger destroyed the announce table, then punched Michael Cole (Greatest. Moment. In. My. Universe. Ever)

The second Nitro of the year opened up with a ridiculous mismatch.

Match 1 - Big Show vs Tyson Kidd (w/ Natalya) - Kidd got off to a very fast start, using his speed moves to gain the advantage on the giant. Unfortunately for Kidd, the Big Show used all of his advantages (size, strength, experience) to get the upper hand and put away the young Tyson Kidd.

Match 2 - Cody Rhodes vs Ricky Steamboat - This match was never in doubt. Steamboat went on the offensive early & often. Rhodes tried to mount a comeback, but it was useless against the reigning U.S. champion. Steamboat made quick work of the youngster, and finished him off with an elbow drop to the head of Rhodes.

Match 3 - Vader vs Sting (#1 Contender Match) - The match was back & forth for several minutes, until Sting hit a surprisingly early Scorpion Death Drop. Unfortunately for Sting, Vader was in the ropes, and Sting took too much time dragging him, so Vader kicked out (also, it was pretty damn early in the match). Sting then continued his assault on the big man, getting back to back near falls. Following a huge reversal, Vader clotheslined Sting from the top rope, then hit Sting with the powerbomb, to pick up the "W". After the match, the two legends shook hands.

Match 4 - Road Warriors vs Steiner Brothers - In a match to determine whether or not the Steiners would get a title shot at the next PPV, two of the greatest tag teams in WCW (and wrestling) history faced off. This started off as an all out slug fest. Scott & Animal were going at it. The Road Warriors made the first tag of the match, but Scott quickly jumped all over the fresh Hawk. The first pin came a mere 5 minutes into the match, when hawk pinned Scott, but Rick quickly broke it up. Nearly 8 minutes into the match, Scott finally tagged Rick in, but the fresh brother couldn't do anything with Hawk, who was on a role. The next several minutes were dominated by the Steiners, and Rick hit a huge bulldog, but somehow, Hawk kicked out at 2 1/2. Just under 13 minutes into the match, Rick caught Animal with a T-Bone suplex, and pinned him for the win, earning the Steiners a shot at the tag team titles.

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

FINALLY!!!! LOOSE CANNON.. HAS.. COME BACKK.. TO UNIVERSSSE...and, along with Life Cereal and Papa John's Pizzeria, proudly presents to you...

U.S. Championship - Scramble: Jack Swagger (Champion) vs. Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton vs. The Miz. With Ryder on the shelf due to the hands of Kane, all of these men deserve a shot at Swagger for the United States strap. So, guess what? They all will anyway. And, damn it, my Sheamus just had to be the first contestant. Wish me luck. Against, The Miz!!! Barrett enters, then rightfully so, Orton just after and, ironically, Swagger. This was a pretty hectic match, yet I didn't realize you were able to change the time limit from 5 to 10 or 20! Regardless, Swagger keeps the strap...and maybe, just maybe we'll have to do another scramble tomorrow night on RAW, or better yet, begin a U.S. Title tournament to determine a new #1 contender. My Sheamus did apply an inverted chokeslam on Orton, but the time ran out.

                      Winner and stillllll:

15-Team Invitation Battle Royal - #1 Contender's Match: Latino Heat vs. Legacy vs. Road Warriors vs. 4 Horsemen (Pillman & AA) vs. Demolition vs. nWo (Henning & Steiner) vs. R-Truth & Brodus Clay vs. ECW (Tommy Dreamer & Sabu) vs. ADR & JBL vs. Kofi & Booker T vs. AJ Styles & RVD vs. Mr. Anderson & Christian vs. Dudley Boyz vs. New Age Outlaws vs. Daniel Bryan & Mark Henry. Lots-lots-lots to cover here. Obviously, we have new Unified Tag Team Champions from the other night on Against All Odds, with Samoa Joe & Mason Ryan a.k.a. Wild Card. Thus, the brainpower of Sting, John L, and Teddy Long decided it was only proper to get the tag division going once again, bringing back several legendary teams, as well as some mystery appearances. Laurainitus and Long even went so far as to FORCE both Bryan & Henry to team up since they both lost to current WWE Champion The Big Show in the past couple months, and for Alberto Del Rio and Bradshaw to form up despite JBL leaving his 1-night partner stranded last week. Latino Heat is the newly formed team of Rey Mysterio & Chavo, forming together after both deserting Uncle Eddie. ECW also makes a double-surprise turn with the pair-up of the legendary Tommy Dreamer and cult-hero Sabu, and the reformation of the Dudley Boyz!!! There were also a slew of more "Wild Card" teams since the winner of Sting's Wild Card tournament are currently champs...makes sense. In case you're wondering, this is just a 30-man RR march, but hell, it allows me to use tons of guys from both brands, along with many of the surprise additions. So, we begin with Christian, who's been rather quiet lately after teaming up with the former Mr. Kennedy on a few Smackdowns. His first opponent is -- well, no shocker here -- JBL! The other constant on SD, and how great is it to have his full entrance open up this Battle Royale! Chavo eliminated my Christian! But, after obtaining Mr. Dreamer, I found it funny that AJ & RVD actually worked as a team, saving each other a few times and helping eliminate a few wrestlers, too--until my guy and Dibiase both threw them out at the same time! (Watching them both leave the ring together defeated was great.) Both Bryan and Henry were eliminated in Tag Team record time by Kofi Kingston! There's the push you've all been waiting for BTW, that slide-morphing outside-and-through-the-ring Royal Rumble glitch -- yeah, it's still there. Ick, THQ. The Dudleyz eliminated my Del Rio together...and both worked on Brodus for much of the match, later tossing over the Funkosaurus. I got some flashbacks when Road Dawg's music came on too... I think part of me wanted to do another RR-match since it was just last Sunday. Oh, and you can't tell me this isn't rigged when the nWo didn't come until #26 and 27! Together, Mr. Perfect & Big Poppa Pump eliminated Ax, Animal, and the #30, the legend himself -- what a great guy to have at this # -- Arn Anderson!

Winners and #1 Contenders for the Unfied Tag Team Championship:

<OInterpromotional - nWo Rules (No DQ/No Countout/Pinfalls Count Anywhere): Dolph Ziggler & CM Punk vs. The Outsiders: Kevin Nash & Scott Hall. If this doesn't make any sense to you, then you'll need to look back at the last few RAWs to understand why these 2 arch-enemies are teaming up against the nWo. This is also the first in-ring appearance of Hall since his interferance on Monday. After the results of the Tag Team Battle Royal, things are slowly starting to head back to the WCW late 90s....and their arrival at this year's Wrestlemania is just TOO SWEEEETTT. And sweet it proved, as this was easily one of the bloodiest matches I ever wrestled. Nash and Punk basically had chairs within their grasps at all times. Dolph got cut WIDE open (Anyone else think the blood also looks improved after the patch? Just a thought). It basically came down to Hall & Nash knocking down the ref, using the sledgehammer on Punk, then 2 consecutive Razor's Edges on Zig Zag, followed by a pin with Hall's legs on the ropes for leverage while Nash smashed up Punk again. Classic nWo!

                      Winners of the Interpromotional Bout:

                      </O

Last Man Standing: Chris Jericho vs. ??????. Who haunted Chris Jericho in his rematch against Kane for the #1 Contender's Match last Monday on RAW? Well, to no surprise considering the lights went out abruptly, causing Kane to recover with an unconscious Y2J, the Darkness Returns, and the world reknown streak is once again on the line!!! What does The Undertaker want with Jericho? Is it all of the End of the World stuff "the ayotollah of rock'n'rolla" had been prophesizing in his comeback to the federation? Well, none of those questions matter now, because Chris has himself in a deep pile of **** with the Phenom. That Wrestlemania entrance is ridiculously sick!!! Even I had to shut off my lights for the full effect. Highlights: HOLLLLYYYYY HELLLLLL!!!!!!! That was the most titillating, excrutiating match I have ever had in my history playing wrestling video games!!! The Big Show ran down to get a better look, but after helping Jericho up a few times, I believe the Phenom scared the champ back to the dressing room; I almost didn't make it back to the ring in time at a 9-count! There were several CLOSE CLOSE calls in this match. The streak nearly ended several times, as Taker got up at a 9 count as many times as I can remember. Jericho was dominated for the first half but after the Show arrived -- along with a few timely reversals, including a Codebreaker -- the momentum shifted to Y2J. I was scared, man. But Taker finally rose to the occasion, and it all ended with a LAST RIDE ON THE TABLE. There was no getting up from that, and the saga continues...

Winner of 21 Wrestlemania matches in a Row:

WWE Championship – Hell in a Cell: The Big Show (Champ) vs. Kane. Well, knowing that this "new" DLC Kane can't be tracked, nor fight for a title, I used him in the match anyway...sort of a Wrestlemania "surprise" for the Champ. If Kane wins, I will just give his "Masked 12" version the belt. No big deal (Big Show still showcases the belt to the crowd anyway). It should be fun going all retro for one night, anyway. Regardless, no wrestler has been hotter in past couple months since Kane. He tore through then-US Champ Zack Ryder, putting him out for weeks; he defeated John Cena so bad, that the babyface went crazy and started tagging with his not-so-buddy The Rock; finally, Kane also ended the championship hopes of a returned Y2J, forcing him to face his demons in the match we just witnessed. Will Show only hold the belt for one good month? Only a Hell in a Cell can provide those answers tonight. Highlights: I also used Kane's "face" theme that so many people enjoy. Big Show got a huge loud pop, as he should. Wow, that was nearly straight domination. Show did his best to throw Kane around the cage a little bit (it wouldn't let me climb it, I held down LB and everything...something I do wrong?) But Kane nailed a chokeslam on the outside onto the steps, then took those very same steps and knocked out the Giant with them in the ring followed by a chokeslam on top of it. Simply, devastating..

                      Winner and neewwwwwwww WWE Champion!!!!!!!:

                      <O</O<O</O

Main Event: John Cena vs. The Rock. Wait, something astronomically WILD happens here: The Rock comes out first (not supposed to)...and as Cena comes out second, he stops at the entranceway, he thinks for a moment, then he waves someone out from the back...who...ZACK RYDER??!!!??! Whoo Whoo Whoo -- You Know It! So, THIS could be Ryder's Wrestlemania moment? I don't understand. But it turns out to be a great match anyway, after Ryder resists Rocky's initial fire, he gives Dwayne a few choice neckbreakers and impressive slams before some choice words. After being knocked off the apron and down to the floor, The Rock roars back, DDTing and Suplexing his way to the finish, eliminating Ryder with the Sharpshooter for the submission and Main Event victory!!!

                      Winner:

As The Rock's music kicks on and the celebrations begin...the next cutscene shows KANE blindsiding The Rock with the Championship!!! Not your typical Wrestlemania finish, but with wrestling these days in dire straits for ratings, I would not put it past HHH and company to do such a thing!!! Why did Cena have Ryder take his spot? Where did he go afterwards? Why did Kane have a special interest in The Rock? How does TNA get involved? All of these questions and more, tomorrow night, on a very special MONDAYYY NIGHTTT RAWWWWW!!!!!

And, folks, thanks for joining us and helping make Wrestlemania 28 a night to remember!!! For Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole, this is Travis Moody saying goodnight from Miami!!!

...And don't forget.. thar RIGHT NOW, the shocking Cena replacement/Kane victory spoil for The Rock is currently trending worldwide on Twitter!!!!

Yea, I'm beginning to think the patch does absolutely nothing. I still couldn't edit the moves of wrestlers I viewed before downloading. No big deal because I was replacing them with a downloaded move set, but still lame.

Orton/Christian/Henry (#1 Contenders Match): The pressure is all on the Viper as a title shot is on the line. What a fantastic match it was too. Before it began, it was announced that the match would become a "Falls Count Anywhere" match. The match eventually moved its way outside the ring, where Henry landed a Worlds Strongest Slam on Christian, and Orton went up in the air and RKO'd Henry. Orton moves into the pin 1...2.. Christian breaks it up! Christian moves into the Killswitch but its reversed, and he's put into an RKO. This time, he's not getting up to stop Orton. 1...2...3!

Rating: ****, Orton wins by pinfall.

Barrett v Sheamus: Two excellent wrestlers gave one hell of a match. It was back and forth for most of the match before Sheamus put Barrett into a chokehold, where the move was reversed. Barrett gave Sheamus that sidewalk slam of his, and soon put him into a Wasteland, where Sheamus was pretty much toast. 1..2...3! Could this be the start of a great feud?

Rating: *** 1/2, Barrett wins via pinfall.

Edge v Lesnar: Edge's return has sparked a lot of entrance. He is emerging as major contender on smackdown. Tonight, Lesnar was attempting to put an end to any buzz Edge had going for him. It didn't take long for Edge to use his momentum to his own advantage. A Spear right to the gut sent Lesnar flying, but not before Dolph Ziggler came running out to distract the ref. Lesnar takes advantage and F5's Edge, but wait! Now Christian is coming out and puts a Killswitch on Ziggler. Edge moves in for the spear and the victory! I don't want to get my hopes up, but could this be the start of a reunion for Edge and Christian? I sure as hell hope so.

                          Rating: ****

Show Summary: Other than a throwaway match where R-Truth walked out on CM Punk before there match could even start (hadn't seen that before?), this was a terrific Smackdown. Theres a lot of interesting things, and I can't wait to see how they develop when Smackdown returns. Up next, Extreme Rules!

                            Just had Wrestlemania

US Title Match: Brodus Clay (Me) retains vs. Cody Rhodes

Tag Team Title Match: Kings of Wrestling (me) defeated the Worlds Greatest Tag Team to capture the tag team titles.

IC Title Match: Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins (me) in a Ladder Match for the IC title.

WWE Title Match (Undisputed/SD): Royal Rumble Winner Batista (me) defeated Kurt Angle to capture the Title.

Cool Down Match/Women's Title: Trish Stratus (me) retained vs. Natalya

World Heavyweight Title Match (Raw): 1 Hour Ironman Match, I turned momentum to slow to limit finishers. CM Punk (me) goes to a draw with Daniel Bryan 2 falls apiece. I hit the Savage Tribute Elbow with about a minute and a half left, but didn't hit it full, so I was down for a bit. At a minute I went for the GTS but had it reversed. Reversals back and forth. At about 6-8 seconds I hit Welcome to Chicago ************ go for the pin but time expired just before the 2 count. I was just emotionally drained from this match ha. I was marking out for the last 15 minutes.

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

Week 3 since the WWE/WCW shows started

before Week 3 started, I downloaded Matt Hardy, Bubba Ray Dudley, & D-Von Dudley and added them all to the WWE roster, giving me 2 more tag teams, and Chris Benoit for WCW.

The week before Elimination Chamber, and a lot left to be worked out

                              WWE RAW

Match 1 - The Rock & Stone Cold vs Kane & The Undertaker - This was my "Remarkable Match" on the card, and it did not disappoint. After The Rock and Undertaker assaulted Austin last week, I figured they would be paired up, but instead, they paired up the WWE Champion & Intercontinental Champion against the Brothers of Destruction (not an official tag team in my Universe). This match was action packed. In the end, Stone Cold left the ring, leaving Rock alone with the two monsters. Rocky put up quite a fight, but in the end, Undertaker hit him with the tombstone and ended the match.

Match 2 - Brock Lesnar & Sheamus vs Demolition - After starting a feud the previous week, Sheamus & Lesnar were teamed up against the WWE Tag Team Champions. This wasn't listed as a "Remarkable Match", but certainly played out like one. Sheamus came out alone, and had to face Demolition by himself. Of course, he was no match for the two man wrecking crew.

Match 3 - Christian vs CM Punk (for a spot in the WWE Elimination Chamber) - This was, by far, the match of the night. I set 60 minute time limit on all of my matches, so I can see how long each match goes. This match went 21 minutes of non-stop action. 12 or 13 minutes into the match, Christian caught Punk with the Unprettier..sorry...Killswitch (stupid name). Miraculously, Punk kicked out, and mounted some offense of his own. After a few more minutes, he reversed a move, and put Christian into the Anaconda Vice. Christian managed to squirm to the ropes, and force Punk to break the hold. There were 3 or 4 near falls over the next few minutes, before Christian reversed a GTS into a second Killswitch, and picked up the victory.

Match 4 - Edge vs Jeff Hardy (for the final spot in the WWE Elimination Chamber) - Not near as good a match as the previous one, but still exciting, nonetheless. Edge seemed to have the advantage from the get go. Hardy mounted a little bit of offense, and Matt Hardy even came out to try to help his brother, but was eventually ejected from ringside. In the end, Edge caught Hardy with the Edgecution, and pinned him, to earn the final spot in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber, making the 6 participants Stone Cold (c), Randy Orton, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Christian, & Edge)

I never watch or play many SuperStars matches, but this card was waaaay too intriguing. Match 1 was a rematch of last week's Brodus Clay vs Jack Swagger match. (Clay got yet another victory).

Match 2 was a 6 man over the top rope battle royal between Matt Hardy, Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry, Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler, & Kurt Angle. This was a fun match to watch. (not long, much like most 6 man battle royals, but still fun). Everyone paired off to start the match (Henry & Ziggler, Angle & Ryder, Hardy & Bryan). Shockingly, Dolph Ziggler was able to eliminate Mark Henry pretty early in the match. Ziggler then turned his attention to Daniel Bryan, and he and Matt Hardy connected on a few double team moves. Eventually, Dolph Ziggler was able to pick up yet another elimination, dropkicking Daniel Bryan while Bryan was on the outside. The next to go? Zack Ryder - once again, an elimination at the hands of Dolph Ziggler. Kurt Angle & Matt Hardy soon teamed up on the Showoff, but Ziggler was having none of it, fighting off the onslaught. Ziggler fought off multiple elimination attempts at the hands of Hardy & Angle, and even caught Angle with the Zig Zag at one point. With Angle down, Ziggler got his 4th elimination, by throwing Hardy out. Ziggler & Angle battled for another few minutes, with Angle throwing Dolph over, only to have Ziggler skin the cat and come back in. Finally, Ziggler eliminated the Olympic Hero. This was total domination by Ziggler; Vickie would be proud.

The main event on this episode of SuperStars was colossal - Goldberg vs Hollywood Hogan. I don't know why this match was scheduled for SuperStars and not Nitro, but I'll take it! This was what you would expect - a slugfest. Hall came down to the ring after 6 or 7 minutes. 10 minutes in, Hogan hit Goldberg with the leg drop, but Goldberg kicked out. Every pin attempt by Goldberg was thwarted by Hall, who would distract the ref. Eventually, Hogan caught him with another leg drop, and picked up the victory.

On the final Nitro before the PPV, we had a lot to determine. We still needed to know who would face Ricky Steamboat in the WCW Elimination Chamber for the United States Title. We know that since Sting lost in the WCW Championship #1 Contender match, that he will be competing for the US Title, but we still need to determine the others. So, I set up 4 matches for Nitro, to determine who the last 4 participants would be (ok, I actually only set up 2...2 of them were already set up; Matches 1 & 2).

Match 1 - Big Show vs Scott Hall. Winner - Big Show

Match 2 - Arn Anderson vs Eddie Guerrero. Winner - Eddie Guerrero

Match 3 - Cody Rhodes vs William Regal. Winner - Cody Rhodes

Match 4 - Chris Jericho vs Rey Mysterio. Winner - Rey Mysterio

So, there we have it - Our wCw US Title Elimination Chamber - Sting, Steamboat (c), Big Show, Guerrero, Rhodes, Mysterio.

Looks like it'll be a great PPV.

                                • Undertaker holds the World Heavyweight Championship Belt, but Randy Orton is looking to take revenge after losing it in a Hell in a Cell match at 'Mania. Who will be the first to back down?
                                • The Iron Senator has emerged onto the WWE scene and quickly won the United States Championship belt. With Ryder looking for a chance to get revenge on his former tag partner, will he and buddy Mason Ryan be able to take down Senator?
                                • Demolition has been on a path of destuction ever since their return to the WWE. Will Santino and Kozlov be able to retain the Unified Tag belts against their more experienced foes?
                                • Natalya and McCool have been back and forth for the Divas championship. Who wins it tonight? Who cares?
                                • Christian has been stalked recently by Dolph Ziggler lately. Its rumored they'll have a match at Extreme Rules for the Championship belt. Will Christian continue to hold on to it?
                                • The biggest match (and finale) of the night is Stone Cold Steve Austin against Triple H. After a dramatic victory at last months Wrestlemania, Austin rushed the ring to give HHH a Stunner. Its not secret the two don't like each other, but theres nothing like an Extreme Rules match to really screw up a relationship.

                                ExtremeRules

Senator (c) v Ryder v Mason (Falls Count Anywhere, for the Belt): What an insane match. The Iron Senator was knocked out for what seemed like days after Mason Ryan put a monstrous finisher on him. But right as Ryder put a Rough Ryder on Ryan, Senator woke up and broke the pin up right before the count hit 3. This wasn't the end of it however. Senator puts his signature DDT on Ryder, than puts the finishing Shock Drop on Ryder. But Ryder kicks out! The match carries on another 5 minutes before The Iron Senator put two finishing high rope DDT's on both Ryan and Ryder, one on top of the other, literally. 1..2...3! The Iron Senator retains!

Rating: ****, Senator wins via Pinfall over Ryder.

Santino/Kozlov (c) v Demolition: Santino and Kozlov have surprised a lot of people by being able to hold the belts all month. From the beginning, Kozlov dominated the match, and it was largely Santino's fault it wasn't over right then and there. Kozlov got Ax into multiple 2 counts, but Santino was unable to hold off Smash. After a tired Kozlov was forced to tag Santino in, Santino tapped out in a matter of seconds before Kozlov had a chance to do anything. Demolition wins the belts!

Rating: ***, Demolition wins via tapout.

Undertaker (c) v Orton (First Blood): Who will be the first to bleed in tonights match? Perhaps the most anticipated match of the night, Orton has been out for the belt since Wrestlemania. Every once in a while, WWE gives you one of those great matches where you think to yourself, "Wow, that was incredible". This was one of those matches. Orton kicked things off (literally), by putting a DDT on Undertaker in the middle of the ring. The crowd held their breath as Orton gave Undertaker a punt to the face. Incredibly, not a drop of blood can be found as Undertaker gets up. At this point, Undertaker got up, gave Orton the throat slash, and Chokeslamed him. As Orton lay motionless, Undertaker went out to get a table, and set it up in the ring. He dragged Orton on top of it, and off of the turnbuckle, slammed him right through it! We all knew what was coming next as Orton groggily got to his feet, as Taker flipped him head to the ground and gave him a wicked Tombstone. The crowd goes wild as Orton stirs on the ground, the match all but decided. But as Orton gets up, something crazy happens. He's not bleeding! An enraged Taker goes outside the ring, and pulls out a ladder, setting it up. As he makes his way to the top, Orton follows. Back and forth they go with the blows before Orton grips Taker by the neck. The crowd holds its breath as Orton goes in for the RKO! SLAM! Right down onto the ring, blood flying all over Takers face. Best match I've seen in Universe thus far!

Rating: *****, Orton wins belt via bleeding.

McCool v Natalya (c): Actually a pretty decent match. McCool reversed a Natalya finisher and moved in for her signature kick to the face, but instead hit the ref, knocking him out! McCool went in for the finisher, but there was no ref to make the count. Without Natalya still groggy, McCool hit her with a kick to the face, and this time the ref made the count 1...2...3!

Rating: ***, McCool wins the belt via pinfall.

Triple H (c) v Stone Cold (2 out 3 falls, Extreme Rules): Can it get any better than the show Orton and Taker gave the crowd earlier? The expectations are certainly sky high, and the fans are anticipating another terrific matchup. The match started out guns blazing (I have to quit with the puns), as Stone Cold gave Triple H his signature elbow drop. Austin then moved in for a Stunner but was it was reversed into a Pedigree! 1...2...3! Thats one fall! Stone Cold gets up with what strength he has left, but Triple H is already taking advantage of the first Pedigree and pulls out a sledgehammer from below the rings and goes to town. When it looks like the match is about to be put to rest, Austin reverses a sledge shot, hits Triple H with a swing, and puts him into a Stunner! 1...2...3! Thats two falls! Within minutes of brawling back and forth Triple H finds a burst of energy, and gives Stone Cold a spinebuster, and we all knew what was coming next. Stone Cold goes down to a vicious Pedigree, 1...2...3! Triple H retains!

                                Rating: ****

PPV Summary: I would argue that Extreme Rules put on the best show all year. Not only did the Undertaker match impress the hell out of me, but it had a lot of great supporting matches, not to mention the Main Event.

                                Rating: ****
