More legal issues for WWE. This time a former writer who was fired for taking home a Wrestlemania 38 chair, is suing for "racist scripts.' The writer was hired in 2021 and has revealed some pretty damning info.

I'm not gonna argue whether her complaints are valid or not, but this is example 1,000 of why the Attitude Era will never return.

The "descendent of Nigerian royalty" got Apollo Crews over on the main roster, although Vince got bored of him/the character quickly.

I think this case will be quickly dismissed.

I'm just confused by it. One, nobody is going to give a **** about a 9/11 wrestling gimmick twenty years later. Two, Mansoor is not old enough for the idea to even make sense.

I think there are some wrong/offensive things that to this day goes on behind the scenes that we may never know the full details about (or at least not until years after the fact), but I don't think this is it.

Bianca saying "Girl...Uh-Uh!" is part of her catchphrase.

Apollo having a Nigerian accent was part of his character, one I would think Apollo had a part in creating (and based partly on his actual Nigerian background). If a superstar doesn't want to do a certain accent, I doubt WWE would force them to against their will. Even Kofi who wanted to do the Jamaican accent ended up changing I believe because he had family (or friends) who were upset he wasn't just honouring his Ghana background so he changed.

The alleged Mansoor gimmick I don't believe was an actual pitch for a character, but part of me wouldn't be surprised if someone on the staff was just throwing it out because we know how messed up things can get behind the scenes.

The one about a guy in drag, I also wouldn't be surprised if that was an idea thrown out in the early days of redesigning Mace before deciding on the MMM stuff.

Hmmmm so I wonder if a certain AEW debut tonight has anything to do with this Monday situation? Perhaps a trade between the companies?

Mighty funny these dirt sheet writers will sit on podcasts and live streams and talk about backstage stuff and give word for word accounts of things even tho none of them are actually backstage at any of these shows but not one of them had this contract situation.

That's how "insiders" of every industry are. They're not first hand accounts, they're relaying information front their sources which often are first hand accounts.

But it is interesting that debut's contract status didn't get out. Normally you'd think a WWE source would leak that.

Wonder if people realize that wrestling is scripted with characters and has writers that pitch things just like any other entertainment company making movies and television and sometimes ideas work and sometimes they don't. People would have a heart attack if they knew what was pitched on a daily basis in other offices.

Who the **** cares. Get this **** out of wrestling.

Minnesota is one of the finalists to host Wrestlemania 41 in 2025. No word on other cities but glad to see WWE get out of it's New York, Florida, Texas comfort zone when it comes to picking the cities for Wrestlemania.

How is the weather in Minnesota in April? Obviously, it's an indoor stadium so it won't matter for the two main shows.

Still, with all the festivities surrounding 'Mania it would be preferred to have it in "nicer" weather cities.

They're also in Philly for WM40 so that'd be back to back years in more unique locations.

First Mania for Philly since Wrestlemania 15, and if Minnesota gets it then it would be their first one ever. With all these new NFL stadiums being built in the future in cities like Buffalo, Tennessee and Chicago I fully expect those to get a Wrestlemania too. With McAfee's connections to the Colts that Indianapolis, I fully expect them to get a Wrestlemania at some point.

Anyone who followed the Carmella news from last year knows how special that news would be for them given she was out last year after suffering a miscarriage (might have been injured too, but mentally, that's something which would mess with you too)

WWE signs Tamyra Mensah-Stock.
She's the Olympic gold medalist WWE was showing off when also having Steveson around.

Given the amount of women they've brought up recently, and now the tournament to crown a new champ, would they be as crazy to have her debut in NXT and win the NXT women's title in her first match?

If she picks up WWE/NXT wrestling style fairly quickly, I could see her on the main roster by the next draft.

Hopefully she ends up better than Steveson. Sure, Angle and Lesnar have set the bar insanely high, but Steveson hasn't even made it to NXT yet, although he is only 22 so hopefully he's taking it seriously and they're being patient with him too. But Tamyra is 30, so she'd probably want to be on the main roster sooner. She'd be the one person who could beat Rousey clean believably. An easy way to bring her in to the main roster in as big a way as any female has ever done so, but it all depends on how good she is in the ring/on the mic.
