After the draft, I see Rollins on SD. Maybe feud with the likes of McIntyre, Gunther, Sheamus (I don't think Rollins and Sheamus have ever had a solo feud?), LA Knight, Nakamura and others?

It's that Seth Rollins should not be the guy you put into a gimmick feud for your biggest show of the year.

That guy should be at or near the top of the card in something with incredibly high magnitude within the actual product that should be the culmination of months of a story. It would mean way, way, way more to me as someone attending the show this year and a life-long consumer and supporter of the business that Seth Rollins had a real feud and a real match and a chance to put on a real HBK-esque performance we'll remember 30 years from now. I mean in another timeline you could easily see Seth being the one coming after the Bloodline and Roman/Seth being the main event, or him getting involved because he "has a bigger claim to Roman than Cody" or something. But in this timeline he's facing a celebrity? Ehhhhhh. You know what I mean? I get it. Celebrities have always had big spots on Wrestlemania. Just don't think it's the best use. I'm sure it'll be entertaining and such but coming into this Wrestlemania with the "new leadership" and all that, I'm looking less for entertainment and more for "holy damn I want something to watch for every week."

I feel the same way about many instances of this over the years. Hate that Miz has been relegated to "hosting Wrestlemania" for example. I want him on the actual card in an actual story. Or like when they do these mixed tag matches with wrestlers and their real life spouses or whatever as if any of us care. It's also why I, on that same line of thinking, like combining Lesnar and Omos. Consolidate the worthless.

I guess when you have a lot of talent you have to figure out how to use people.

Which also touches into a big "in general" gear grinder of mine too. Wrestlers should have to earn their spot on the card. So many of the last however many mega-shows seemingly just have everyone on it or find dumb pointless ways to use people (like the Andre thing). Wrestlemania is the ultimate reward for good work. Protect your shows.
Kind of a hard argument to make when the very first instance of that biggest show of the year you're talking about was headlined by the biggest name in the business being involved in a match with a celebrity. The very nature of this company was built on booking celebrities into high profile matches. It also financially makes zero sense to pay the money you're gonna pay for some of these celebrities to be in a match to stick them with the Chad Gables or Dolph Zigglers of the world.

Liv was at a Knicks game and went viral.

Either she owned that guy or this was the best publicity stunt.

WM Backlash is returning, but it's happening in Puerto Rico! Bad Bunny as the host (I imagine he's performing too).

It'll be in the same venue as New Years Revolution in 2005.

This should be another fun event. I imagine Priest could be doing something notable there too.

So WM, the Backlash in PR, KOTR in SA, MITB in London, stadium show Summerslam. What a fun time for PLEs.

And September probably has Clash 2 in London.

Yeah I imagine no PLE in June since May has two PLE events. You have to figure Survivor Series will have War Games again so pretty packed PLE schedule.

The KOTR is end of May and MITB is first of July, so no need for a June one, especially during MLB season + NBA finals + Stanley Cup finals.

I imagine Clash is also happening labour day weekend again as well.

This entire year could have hit home runs with every single event the way things are going!

Wwe is trying to get betting on matches to be legalized. I know its already on some sites, but I imagine this is designed for bigger named betting apps.

I just don't see how this could work. It's a scripted event where the result could be changed at any given moment to suit the needs of anyone involved.

How long before we see Roman Reigns vs Angel Garza and Garza wins when the odds are +50000.

Or what's stopping someone from just telling all their friends and family they're winning, and everyone profits from that?

If there's enough potential money involved for both sides I'm sure it'll happen. And the potential for insider betting (if that's even what you call) will be something that's accounted for financially.

I suspect that legit sports leagues and betting apps/books already have an understanding about that sort of thing when it comes to points shaving and the like. It happens, but as long as it's under a certain amount just leave it alone. Too much money for both sides to risk scandals and crackdowns. And there's less suspicion out there because athletes make way more money than in the Pete Rose days.

Going back to a point mentioned on here about Reigns holding the title for 1000 days if he were to retain at WM (and I guess now that we know, he'd also have to retain at Backlash), and entering the KOTR event. Something else I looked up, Gunther would break the all time IC title record if he were to successfully defend his title at the clash at the castle event, should that event take place labour day weekend, which could be a story of its own too.

WWE and the Australian Government are working to bring a major stadium show to Australia. The last stadium event was Super Showdown back in 2018.

A December event maybe? It's summer in Australia in December, you could do a stadium show then.

London could get September, probably SA gets October again, and November is Wargames wherever in the US they find.

If I were them, I'd have the show on December 16th. SD on the 15th in some arena there, taped Raw/SD also there on the 18th, and then they're done for a week with shows.

London is already getting a PPV in July. I don't think they'd get another show just 2 months later.

The A&E doc on Chyna felt like a "rise and fall of Chyna" type of piece, even if that's basically how her life went.

She didn't seem to have the best life growing up, and feels like the AE was really the best part of her life. Her life before and after that was just a trainwreck.

That trainer guy they used for most of the doc seemed weird. His muscles just looked more than just unnatural, it looked gross.

And her agent seems like a horrible person. Seems like he was just taking advantage of her that whole time. I never knew what happened after she died too. They really did an entire concert for her where they charged people for that funeral and just had her urn up there like they were at some Championship trophy celebration...

Only good part about that ending was the dolphins part (and Foley noting the fitting connection about dolphins being present for her ashes being scattered since that's what his daughter used to compare her strength to)

                                I keep forgetting that.

I guess September would make sense depending on the weather there.

I'm guessing they'd have the show on Saturday night over here which would be Sunday afternoon in Australia? That would be nice time wise. Works out better than a UK or SA show.
