    Re: WWE 13 Slider Thread

One thing I've noticed is that the AI is a LOT more aggressive on Normal match length than on quick match length. On Legend diff w/ quick matches I was still winning fairly handily, but bump it up to Normal and the AI attacks more and it's day and night.

Anyone have a recommendation on what to use if all I want to do for now is CPU vs CPU matches?

About the 1 count glitch. Any news on the patch? With THQ filing bankruptcy, I'm afraid it may never go out

I would say start with one these in this thread and mess with it yourself. I haven't received an answer on this one.

Would be nice to have a good set of CPU vs CPU, but it's a known issue the attributes don't do what they should. I believe THQ finally addressed this and said they think they know what the issue is. So any CPU vs CPU matches are basically pointless because it's going to be random for the most part. I haven't had too many "real" match results.

True. I still see pins on simple body slams that aren't Finishers. If you do Triple Threat or higher the logic is just goofy.

I am working on a set of sliders. I will post shortly to see if you would like to check them out and help create some good ones.

It makes a match longer depending on the setting. Quick being the fastest, normal is normal speed, and epic is a long..well, epic match.

                          AI: 15 - 18 - 16 - 17 - 20 - 17

                          General: 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 5 - 8 - 5 - 5

After I would say 10-12 hours or so of exhibition play I've finally settled on these sliders. Umhester has perfect house made rules that should be followed. For Example:
                          1) Only press reversal One Time.
                          2) During pinfall, wait for ref's one count before you begin trying to kick out

                          I have experienced the following:
                          1) Matches where the AI will not repeatedly throw you outside the ring for an omg moment but kick your arse purely in the ring.
                          2) Matches where the AI would intelligently use his finisher immediately and go for the pin without storing it.
                          3) They still like to prep the announcer's table most of the time

This set proved to be the most enjoyable for me challenge wise. The AI is a threat every match.
However I have not used umhester's attributes settings. So I am unaware if his attribute settings along with his easier slider sets provide better matches then mines.
I gotta say....these worked great for me....coupled with some attribute edits, Im having some great matches and im not dominating like I use to...which was getting stale and boring(hey, kinda like real life huh?)I didnt use the "house rules" as I have my own way of playing...but the sliders are great

I'd used this for a while and the matches are really good. I'm using your house rules (with a little change, though) and I even lose sometimes, which I think is great in Universe mode.

My little change is during pinfall, if it's right after a normal move, I close my eyes until 1. But if it's after a signature move or a finisher, I close them until 2. That way, you only have one chance, if any, to kick out of a finisher which shoulnd't be easy

The thing that is bothersome (not that I lose sleep), is that you have to use your own house rules in order to get enjoyment from this game. I want to play a game where the only rules are the ones programmed into the game itself. It's sad that this game has come down to users having to do these type of house rules to have any fun with it. IMO, having to establish house rules for enjoyment, reflects poorly on the developers.

Agreed..its like we can still have fun with it but its kind of a pain and were going out of the way to do things we shouldn't have to do. Legend difficulty is too easy, if a bunch of ppl are saying this then you would think that the debs should change tune it - but they don't, they just say we're part of the minority and don't touch it at all.

Take a game like The Show or 2K, those games hardest difficulty are just that, really freakin hard. Those devs actually care about the community though and respond to us (The Show's hardest mode is actually going to be even HARDER this year). WWE's devs just hang us out to dry a week after the games released.

And the difficulty problem is only the start for this game, unfortunately.

Aside from that though there is still fun to be had in this game and I am still enjoying it.
