Not going to lie, I watched the Blunders episode of Too Hot for TV and I really enjoyed it. I've never seen Mean Gene with such a dirty mouth before, I highly recommend it. Haven't watched any of the others though.

Lol that's nothing compared to what you see on the episode. The graphics guy put on the screen Mean "Tiny D***" Gene lololol (it was blurred out of course)

See, there's nothing wrong with liking some of the original programming.

I think I watched all the Too Hot for TV's except the "Too Gross for TV" and "Season's Beatings". Blunders might be the best though. The graphics for Mean Gene...

I like these compilation-type shows. I've only seen two episodes of the WWE List show, but it's not bad either. More of a "let's talk about this topic" without ranking them like Countdown.

Yeah some of the newer programs are good. The ones I was referencing that I didn't like were Swerved, Culture shock, and Renee's show. I'll be watching more of Too Hot for TV for sure though. Haven't checked out The List yet. I wish they would do spin offs of WM Rewind like Summerslam Rewind for example.

Well I know what i'll be watching next time I put on the Network (about a week's time) I've always liked Gene Okerlund and the interviews and stories i've heard about him make him seem like just the type of guy to blow a fuse and curse a lot.

Been watching raw and nitro at the same since getting the network. Currently at the end of July 96. Raw gets harder and harder to watch while on nitro the NWO beginning to really affect WCW.Nash and Hall just attacked AA,American Males, and Rey jr and everyone is freaking out. Even now it seems real. Woman was crying for Arn, Ric looked legit worried for him,Eddie and Chavo was looking after Rey. Hell Rick Steiner in a tag match after that happen looked distracted for real like he was worried him and and his brother were next. Amazing tv right there.

Also there was another Glacier promo vid. Maybe he can stop the NWO.

Do the matches on PTW get any better as the series goes on? I've watched the first four and it's either squash matches or low mid-card guys wrestling one another. None of the top guys from early 86 (Hogan, Piper, Orndorff, Andre) have been featured on the show.

Might cut bait and go through the Clash of the Champions next.

I'm glad more RAW's have been added. Be nice if we got more Nitro's and other old-school content. This recent upload is better than what they had been doing lately, which was nothing.

                    .
Ehhh not really though right now they're actually doing storyline progression what with the Hogan Orndorf feud erupting. It's still mostly midcard and below stuff but you do get the odd really entertaining match. The last episode I watched had an awesome Terry Funk/Pedro Morales match with zero workrate but lots of brawling. People were throwing stuff at the ring and such.

Some of the episodes are a complete waste of time but my OCD-like tendencies is keeping me watching and like I said, just when I want to give up there's a match or two that's really good. In back to back shows (74 and 75 IIRC) they showed two pretty good matches from the same MSG show with Brutus Beefcake taking on Davey Boy Smith and the other match having Greg Valentine taking on Dynamite Kid. Both matches had a good story and flow to them that made them great to watch.

Prime Time isn't the greatest show around but you will find a hidden gem in there every once in a while like the famous Bruno/Tito vs Savage/Adonis cage match.

SummerSlam Rewind would be pretty great. Probably has the most options for this type of show outside of WrestleMania.

I hear you and I'm very much the same way. Plus, I'm a sucker for the old school content. There's so little of it that I better watch what is offered. I do like the storyline/angle progression on PTW. The pas three weeks they've built up Big John Studd and King Kong Bundy as a monster tag team, but we've yet to see the team actually compete, although I think that is coming in the next episode.

I was watching some of the Kliq stuff and just felt throughout all of it that X-Pac was just completely out of place. Was he that guy that somehow always found his way around them?

Pretty much. I mean, he's good, but not on the level of the rest of those guys

I even kind of got the same feeling about HHH. He was basically their chauffeur and their spokesman. He never did anything worth mentioning until after Hall and Nash left. They portray it like the five of them dominated the company while they were together, but really, it was Michaels, Hall, and Nash

Speaking of 1997 RAW. I put on the first RAW I ever went to live back in August 1997 in Atlantic City. I was on TV right as The Undertaker's music hit before the main event. Undertaker & Mankind vs. Shawn Michaels & Hunter Hearst Helmsley.

I am in the middle of the pic a few rows back in the hat and Undertaker shirt. I was only 12 years old then. Can't believe it has been 18 years already!
