You say "a Snake", "Perfect" and "a Hacksaw" like they weren't called Jake Roberts, Curt Hennig and Jim Duggan.

Duggan was most commonly called just "Hacksaw".

Hennig was mostly called Mr. Perfect until WCW.

      Jake Roberts Ill give ya.

Promos weren't undisputably better than today? Really?

Those two (characters, promos) are so subjective anyways. There is no definitive answer as to which is better, just which someone prefers.

Commentary back then is miles beyond what we get today, even the stupid stuff (like Art Donovan as a guest) was better than our bad.

Well, if that's your stance. But give me shoot from the hip over writers anyday.

New show coming to the Network in July. Global Cruiserweight Series.

                    According to wwe.com
"For the first time ever, WWE invites cruiserweights from all over the world to compete in the inaugural Global Cruiserweight Series. Thirty-two of the greatest in-ring competitors under 205 lbs. will descend upon Full Sail University in Orlando, Fla., and collide for 10 weeks to earn the right to call themselves the best cruiserweight in the world."

Sounds like the WWE version of Super J Cup. This could be great depending who's in it.

Give me La Sombra vs Zack Sabre Jr. in the finals and I'm all in.

I'm well aware. He's signed for 7 seasons with LU. They aren't allowed to work other American television/PPVs.
