WWE Network Discussion Thread
I mean Jericho before their match at Mania was fighting with Test, because he knocked out Stacy Kiebler with a chair, and Jeff Hardy to a point because he came to he aid of Test. And iirc the reason why they had match at WM was because Shawn was a semi-mentor for Jeff. But he went from feuding with HHH for the title to a lower midcard feud that really didn't have a whole lot of build behind it. The build for that match seemed like something they would do today.
And I was over exaggerating a little.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
All I remember about the 2003 feud was that WM19 match. Obviously can't hold a candle to their 2008 angle, even if that WM match was the best one they had.
If you wanna talk about forgettable HBK fueds from that era, gotta include the Orton one. On paper it sounds great, but Orton has that thing where he can have a decent match against almost anyone, but rarely has a great one.Last edited by dubcity; 08-10-2017, 07:04 PM.Comment

Isn't that the same feud that built with Shawn being Jericho's idol when he was a kid hence the whole respect thing at the end of their Mania match that ended with Jericho low blowing him after that? I mean Shawn definitely did well after the nWo angle ended. It wasn't the title picture but that feud wasn't a nothing feud.

People like to dog today's product.
I'm currently watching some 97 Raws, and I'm watching midgets wrestling after an all out brawl between NoD and the Hart Foundation.
So yeah...
