They should be cutting whatever that 3rd show is on the network. Main event I think it is? That'd save costs. And there are a bunch of people on roster never on tv.

205 Live is the same. I doubt it would save much to cancel that.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
And 205 Live was one of the more watched shows on the Network last I heard, granted that was during the summer or even before that. So I doubt that would get cancelled.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I think the mistake they made with the Network the past few years is they thought they were going to create this huge crossover media platform, and that more casual wrestling fans were going to sign up for the kids shows, the reality shows, comedy, etc, and that they'd end up with 4-5 million potential subscribers. Which would create the potential for a huge money-making Netflix type entertainment network, bringing in WWE Films and other non-wrestling content.
In reality there are 1.5 million loyal fans who subscribe for the PPVs, NXT, the documentaries, the old shows, and maybe the occasional Ride Along or Table For 3.
Personally I hope they do some of the things they asked about on their last survey. Offline viewing, alternate commentaries for classic programming, etc.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I think some house shows on it would be cool - especially this Starrcade thing. Also the alternate commentary. But I also wouldn’t mind seeing another season of Legends House. I loved that.
Overall I love the Network, but some of the original programming that they got rid of was really cool. WrestleMania rewind was one.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
The thing that'd suck for them is the lack of paying customers. They got loyal fans who'd pay, but certain fans never would. It could cost $1 a month and people would still go online to watch it elsewhere.
In Canada at least, if they ever give people the actual on demand part of the network, more people definitely would get it.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I see WWE had their camera crews at Greensboro filming during Starrcade last night but yet didn't even put it on the Network as a special. Was pretty cool seeing the video of Goldust turning into "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes and wrestling once again in that gimmick.Comment

They tape every house show, which is what this was. It was a glorified house show.Comment

Young Orton was that dude when he had his Legend Killer gimmick. [emoji1487] I don’t think I fully appreciated him til now.
