Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I think the Attitude Era peaked early, and by the time late 99 came around I was mostly done with it. Give me NOD, DX, Val Venis, The Brood, The Hart Foundation, and early Austin vs McMahon all day. The McMahon-Helmsley era can suck it.Comment

WWE Network Discussion Thread
That would have been my guess. I’m 36. I know that by late 99 I had a license and a car and that heavily contributed to the lessening of my wrestling interests. I suspect that has a lot to do with why I can watch the crap out of the early 90’s stuff up until about Fall 99 but I’ve seen only pieces of 2000 forward up until 02 or so and the. Basically nothing until 06 or so and then bits and pieces from there.

McMahon Helmsley era early on at least feels like every story in the shows have some ties to them.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I turned on WWE Network and there's a special called "Dream Match Maina" where it's 3 guys talking/commentating while a video of a dream match being played via 2K20 is going on. Currently it's some guy I don't know and the Usos talking during a Reigns vs. $500 shirt The Rock match. It's actually pretty entertaining (the commentary part). Other matches I saw include Charlotte vs Beth Phoenix, Sasha vs Trish, Big E vs. Goldberg, Cena vs Hogan and there's another one I forget.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Rollins vs. Flair is the other match.
Goldberg vs Big E was funny. It was Big E and Kofi commentating and Big E got squashed in the match and him/Kofi play it off really well acting like they're pissed. Good stuff.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Charlotte vs Beth can still happen, it probably will.
Trish or Lita in singles action vs any of the top women in WWE today would be great.
Edge & Christian vs New Day/Usos is the top tags I wanna see.
Angle, Bret, HBK vs many guys on roster like Rollins,Bryan,Owens and others would also be great.Last edited by Majingir; 04-02-2020, 02:18 PM.Comment

Too bad we never got Trish vs Alexa. That was the match from that PPV I was looking forward to the most.Comment

A 5 star match if there ever was one.
8 1/2 if it had been in the Tokyo Dome.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Rewatching bits of WM31.
Forgot how loud that pop was for DX and especially NWO! That was loud even for an open roof stadium.
Rusevs entrance was great. How they managed to drop the ball on him after this....
And completely forgot Daniel Bryan's post WM victory celebration. Backstage with Piper, Steamboat, Patterson, Flair, Bret! All doing the yes chant. Only to be interrupted by Ron Simmons.
And The Rock/Rousey and HHH/Steph!
And that whole Rollins cashing in MITB in the main event part too!
This was 5 years ago already!Last edited by Majingir; 04-04-2020, 02:57 PM.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Eras according to this WWE.com poll I found and what % of people voted as their favorite:
https://www.wwe.com/polls/what-is-your-favorite-wwe-era
6% The Golden Age (‘80s to early ‘90s)
3% New Generation Era (Early to mid ‘90s)
51% Attitude Era (mid ‘90s to early 2000s)
21% Ruthless Aggression Era (2002 to 2008)
4% PG Era (2008 to 2013)
3% Reality Era (2014-2016)
13% The New Era (2016 to present)
I’ve started a WCW & WWE rewatch from the start of Raw moving forward. Watching Raw and both organizations PPV’s. Just finished Wrestlemania X.
